My wife & I showed up on a Tuesday around 6:30 7:00 pm & the place was completely empty. The waitress was excellent & super nice. The chairs in the bar section are unfortunately very uncomfortable. They have no support & when you sit in them you sink. I m a bigger guy so I thought it was just me but my wife who is 160 pounds lighter than me had the same sensation. We received the menu which were pretty torn up & decided to order the jacks smokehouse platter for 110$ . I ordered a Stella & it was warmish with the beer lacking flavor & with an unpleasant bitterness. I love Stella it s my favorite beer. So I m thinking the taps might not be working right. The platter we received is monstrous. A nice cheddar smoky sausage, 6 ribs, some chicken wings , some corn ribs, a small mound of pulled pork & a huge piece of brisket with fries. The pork had big lumps of fat in it & the sauce was very bland. The corn ribs were good with a nice batter. The ribs & the chicken wings were excellent . Fall off the bone ribs with great sauce. The wings are deep-fried with a rub & they were crispy & juicy & really good. The brisket is a complete disaster. Fatty no flavor ....to be honest reminded me of a pot roast boiled in water. Ate 2 pieces & ended up spitting the meat into my napkin. Yuck yuck yuck. Gelatinous non rendered fat. Terrible. The smokie sausage was good but I got some gristle in it that was unchewable. We finished up I told the waitress about the brisket & she just said that people rave about it. Maybe the chef had a bad night. Anyway don t go on a Tuesday, the beer is warm , the platter though big lacks flavor. Sorry to say cause I wanted to love this place , expensive & not worth it. But if you do decide to try it the chicken wings & the ribs were great. & as you can tell from the response of the owner not willing to admit that his food is not up to par.
Happy times at happy hour in an area where this was absent for many years ...

There is NO HAPPY HOUR anymore & we stopped going after work BECAUSE paying over $40 for 3 pints with tip & taxes is just outrageous :-(

Owner mentioned it's my decision to come back or not over my March Update comment that he replied on !
But when I did come back to watch a Morocco world cup soccer game with friends when I walked in I was rudely yelled at across the bar area with him yelling' Toi Dehors , Dehors , Dehors & je décide qui rentre dans mon restaurant & on a pas besoin de toi ici' after I just waived a friendly hello with a smile ... But because he yelled at me my voice also became a bit louder I admit but entirely because he provoked the situation :-(
Sadly Many other locals who use to be regulars also find the owner very arrogant & provocative so like me they also started going elsewhere in the area where prices for a beer or 2 after work aren't outrageous without restrictions!
I loved the ambiance & the music at Jack Saloon but I know I'm repeating myself that $40 with tax & tip il Laval Ouest is outrageous 😳
C'est vraiment un belle endroit où on si sent comme chez nous, L'accueil est très chaleureuse, les employés sont souriants & présent pour assurer le service. Ce sont de très bonnes assiettes avec un goût très savoureux, vous pouvez en plus profiter les vendredis samedi d'un chancelier à l'heure du souper & du DJ après pour rester & festoyer avec vos amis. En fait c'est le meilleur endroit pour fêter un anniversaire entre amis ou en famille, car vous pouvez par la suite une fois le repas terminé, danser & vous Amuser en savourant d'excellents cocktails de cette excellent Resto-Bar 5 étoiles⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?

Le propriétaire M. Khattabi El Mahdi est un hôte spécimen. Nous sommes samedi & nous avions réservé pour 18 h 30. À mon arrivée au restaurant, mes amiEs sont déjà choqué de la manière dont ils sont reçu par le propriétaire, mais ils tolèrent le personnage croyant que c'est un serveur qui est fatigué de sa semaine.
Constatant qu'il continue à intervenir avec son accueil auprès de notre table & que cela irrite certaines personnes, je le prend à l'écart pour lui demander poliment de ne plus intervenir à notre table, l'interaction antérieure ayant déçue notre groupe.
M. Khattabi El Mahdi m'informe que c'est son restaurant & que si je je suis pas content que je n'ai qu'à quitter les lieux.
N'ayant à mon avis aucunement l'allure d'un propriétaire, je croyais que le barman était plutôt le propriétaire & je suis allé vérifié auprès de ce dernier si M. Khattabi El Mahdi était bien le propriétaire.
M. Khattabi El Mahdi a demandé à son barman de me sortir du restaurant. Sans violence j'ai sorti du restaurant pour m'expliquer avec le barman la raison pour laquelle nous ne voulions plus que M. Khattabi El Mahdi n'intervienne à notre table durant le souper.
15 secondes après notre sortie du restaurant, M. Khattabi El Mahdi a envenimé la situation, en plein jour, devant témoins & devant caméras. Il est, lui aussi, sorti du restaurant & m'a menacé en fonçant vers moi de me frapper à coup de poings. Selon ses dires : normalement si ce n'était pas dans son restaurant il m'aurait déjà tabassé.
Je suis rentré dans le restaurant, j'ai récupéré mon manteau & j'ai décidé de quitter les lieux.
À vos risques & périls...

Le plus beau restaurants western, Très bonne bouffe, cocktails délicieux, bière bien fraîche, très bon service, chanceniers 2 soirs semaines,DJs 2 soirs semaines, court de danse en line gratuit les jeudis, karaoke le mercredi.. beaucoup de places de stationnement, un vrai coup de coeur!

Dès l'appel de mon conjoint, nous avons senti l'accueil sincère : le propriétaire, Mahdi, a pris le temps de nous rassurer & de nous trouver une place au bar, malgré une salle complète. Un geste qui en dit déjà long...
Nous avons ensuite eu le bonheur d'être servis par Laurianne, une vraie perle ! Professionnelle, attentionnée, souriante & en plein maîtrise de son travail. Elle a tout pour réussir & nous avons eu un immense coup de coeur pour elle 💛
Tout au long de la soirée, Mahdi est venu nous voir à plusieurs reprises pour s'assurer que tout allait bien. Une attention rare & tellement appréciée. De nos jours, un service aussi humain, chaleureux & sincèrement attentionné fait toute la différence. On sent à quel point le service à la clientèle est au coeur de ses priorités & il sait s'entourer d'une équipe exceptionnelle.
L'endroit est magnifique, impeccable, l'ambiance est agréable, & la nourriture est délicieuse, généreuse & réconfortante. Bref, une expérience parfaite du début à la fin.
Nous avons absolument tout aimé & c'est certain que nous y retournerons très bientôt.

Had dinner there on a Thursday night. They accommodated our group of 8 & service was great. The bar area was packed with Line dancers so service was a bit slower but expected. All in all had a great time.
First, the portions are surprisingly small-especially for the Extrémités brûlées / Burnt Ends & the barely noticeable hint of brisket in the Macaroni au fromage / Mac & Cheese.
Small portions wouldn't necessarily be a problem if the food itself were good. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
The Burnt Ends are chewy & oddly smooth, with a texture closer to sliced bologna than properly smoked brisket. There's none of the caramelized bark, crisp edges, or smoky richness you expect from burnt ends-just soft, uniform cubes that somehow manage to taste like cheap ham & rubbery at the same time.
The same issue shows up in the Viande fumée double / Double Smoked Meat. The meat has the flavor & texture of a cheap deli ham rather than smoked meat. No peppery crust, no real smoke flavor, & none of the tender, slow-cooked texture you'd expect from something that supposedly spent hours in a smoker.
It's honestly impressive in a strange way-making two different smoked meats taste exactly like bargain ham takes a special level of culinary confusion.
If the idea here was barbecue, it completely missed the mark. If the idea was ham, then congratulations-you nailed it.
Attached is the rubbery smoked meat they put in the'Double Smoked Meat' which is supposed to have'two beef patties & smoked meat' but apparently counting to 2 is a skillset that is about as good as their meat smoking skills as we had a single patty of each'meat'.
Great spot overall. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away, which I'd definitely recommend, especially on nights when they have live performers, as the place gets quite busy. It did take a little while for our orders to arrive, likely because of how packed the place was.
The bar area near the stage tends to get crowded, but that also adds to the lively energy. The food was good, & the overall atmosphere had a great vibe.

Tellement déçue! Nous avions acheté 2 coupons Tuango donc pour 4 personnes. Le service était très lent. La serveuse, bien que très sympathique, ne sait pas ce qu'est une bière rousse encore moins une IPA. Mon amie voulait du vin: ils en ont, mais pas de carte. Évidemment, la serveuse ne sait pas non plus le nom des cépages, donc difficile de commander quand tu ne sais pas ce qu'il y a de disponible. Les entrées étaient vraiment bonnes (nachos & tacos). Ça se gâte au plat principal: on apprend 30 minutes après avoir commandé qu'il n'ont plus les steaks qu'on voulait. Je commande un fish & chips, pâteux & pas floconneux à l'intérieur & frites froides. Je n'ai pas mangé. La bavette ne goûtait pas grand-chose selon mon conjoint.
Nous avions un dessert inclus. Le coupon disait un lava cake…ils n'en ont plus. Le seul dessert qu'ils ont c'est de la croustade. Je n'auras pas payé pour ça. Mais c'était inclus…
On ne m'a pas demandé si c'était à mon goût.
Aussi, musique trop forte pour coté salle à manger. Je comprends que du côté bar, y'a de l'ambiance, mais ce qu'on voulait c'est manger.
Ne gaspillez pas 130$.
