That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.

A must visit for Indian food! I got the $39 lunch menu- choice of salad/ soup, butter chicken, rice/ naan, dessert gulab jumun/ mango sorbet.

C'est ma 5e visite cette année: le poulet, l'agneau, les plats végé, la planche de tapas à partager, sans oublier le pain nan fait sur place, tout est succulent. & les cocktails sont fantastiques.
I had been to the one at Griffintown but not to this one.
It did not disappoint. They have great & flavourful vegan options & nice mocktails. Plus the restaurant is beautiful & the service was excellent.
The only downside is that the tables for 2 are a little bit too small (we had to move things around constantly so they wouldn't fall)
The waiter told us that half the restaurant was design for serving drinks, so I'd recommend making it clear you're having dinner when doing reservations.
& the music was a kind of loud for me (we had to speak up when talking the whole time).

Les plats étaient délicieux. Le riz soufflé en tapas était bon & original! Bonne soupe Dahl. Drinks à essayer! (J'ai aimé le Pineapple Express). Un peu onéreux mais nous avons passé une excellente soirée!
'I have visited Montreal a couple of times, & this is our go-to place for food. Sometimes a reservation is required. The food was very delicious, & the alcoholic cocktails were the best we've tried in a while. The ambiance is also pretty good.' 😊
The food the atmosphere was delightful. Also, my waitress handled my lack of french speaking skills with class & made me feel comfortable when i asked questions. lovely time & great food.
Une expérience décevante, une cuisine indienne américaine, salée & sans raffinement. On est en droit d'exiger beaucoup mieux pour le prix payé. À ceci s'ajoute un service trop courtois, à la limite envahissant. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
Super petit restaurant de quartier avec une jolie ambiance & différentes façons d'apprécier le menu. Une belle variété de choix & tout a fait savoureux.
We made reservations to celebrate a birthday. We were seated in 4 spots on a bar that overlooked the kitchen. It took literally 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us & even fill water. After that service was good although the kitchen did make a mistake in 1 dish (but fixed it promptly ). Food was good but the evening was spoiled. I wish they had told us when we made the reservation they didn't have table space - would have reserved elsewhere.
Honestly wanted to give 5 because the service & food were amazing! But, my throat hurt by the end of the meal because I had to shout the whole time to be heard by the people at my table. I get it, trendy restaurants play loud music. It's just not my cup of tea, so it would be disingenuous to rate a perfect score.
The service was really great, pleasant staff, helpful, & constantly coming by to fill up water & check in to ensure all was good.
The food was also wonderful. Kind of sad that meals included no sides (not even rice) but again... That's trendy restaurants for you!
Nous avons adoré ! La nourriture était excellente & le mixilogue Sam était vraiment super, drinks très bon. Excellente service de Sam. On y retournera assurément !
