To create a new Indian culinary experience that would represent what we’re all about and gather all communities with a distinct bar of high-quality cocktails, letting our customers discover not only our fabulous gastronomy but also our traditional Indian beverages and drinks. That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.
We wanted to concoct the perfect symbiosis between our culture and the Montreal spirit we have known and lived for more than 30 years!

India Rosa Plateau is widely celebrated for its modern take on Indian cuisine, offering a menu that stands out for its unique fusion flavors and high-quality ingredients. Guests frequently praise the restaurant for its stylish, inviting ambiance and exceptional cocktails, making it a popular choice for both brunch and dinner. While the majority of diners highlight the attentive and friendly service as a key part of their positive experience, the restaurant is also recognized for its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful decor. Although opinions on portion sizes and pricing vary, the consensus remains that the flavorful dishes, such as the butter chicken and various naan options, provide a memorable and sophisticated dining experience that encourages many to return.
A very underwhelming experience. I had reserved for 5 people for dinner. When we got there we were seated at table meant for 4 people to begin with. I had to request to switch to a larger table as there was no way 5 of us could have had comfortable dinner at that table. Then we ordered both our drinks including mango lassi, starters & main course with naan together. We got the drinks except mango lassi & starters along with the naan before the main course sabzi dishes. Who serves naan before the sabzi dishes at an Indian restaurant? Then we waited & waited & waited & waited… Even couple of other servers one of whom seemed like a senior guy wondered about us that we could see in the background. Finally we asked Noah, our server when he was passing by & he was surprised that we had not received our food?!?!
So finally we get our food & if the food would have been good it would have made up for everything else. But food was mediocre at best. We had ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala & malai kofta for the main course & I have had way better food than what was served. Even a hole in the wall small restaurant called Little India cafe in Ottawa would give India Rosa a run for their money. If this is the Indian food that you guys get in Montreal then you should definitely make a trip to Ottawa's Little India Cafe.
They also forgot to serve the mango lassi that we had ordered completely. We did not even realize it till the end when my mother in law pointed it out for whom it was meant.
& this was the restaurant that was highly recommended to us by an acquaintance.
Very disappointed!!!!!!
The only silver lining was our waiter Noah!
I could tell he was trying!
?I rarely leave 5-star reviews, but this place earned every bit of it.
?Reserving via Google Reserve was seamless, & the staff accommodated our patio request immediately upon arrival. Our server was so kind & gave us fantastic recommendations catered to our tastes.
?Don't skip the cocktails! The Mango Mantra was incredible! For food, we got the signature chicken & malai kofta. The kofta wasn't my favorite, but the gravy made up for it. Portions are huge (easily enough for two to share).
The food & atmosphere at this restaurant were incredible! The cocktails were thoughtfully crafted & unique-we tried the Tiki Bhangra & the Violet Pisco Sour, & both were excellent. We also ordered the Madrasi Chicken, & it was absolutely delicious. I've been craving it ever since! Everything from the drinks to the food made for a fantastic dining experience, & I can't wait to come back.

Had an amazing brunch/lunch experience at India Rosa on Mont-Royal in Montreal! The atmosphere was stylish, vibrant, & welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered a mix of brunch dishes, mains, cocktails, & coffee - everything was beautifully presented & packed with flavor.
The Butter Chicken Benny was absolutely delicious, rich & comforting with a creative twist. The Grilled Paneer dish was perfectly seasoned, & the Lamb Curry Benny was outstanding - tender, flavorful, & unique. The Omelette du Rosa was fresh & satisfying, while the cocktails (Gecko Mule & Tiki Namaste) were refreshing & expertly crafted. Even the macchiato was excellent to finish the meal.
Service was attentive & friendly, & the overall dining experience felt upscale yet relaxed. Perfect spot for brunch, cocktails, or a fun meal with friends in the Plateau area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for modern Indian fusion cuisine in Montreal! Will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
we order malai kofta but it had more taste of cardamom & butter chicken was not spicy it had a sweet taste. tables are so small to put everything on them
The food was overpriced & I was disappointed it didn't even include rice. We got the butter chicken & cod, the dishes were ok, but didn't feel elevated or elaborate for what you'd expect for the price, ambience, & a special occasion. The taste was very ordinary, like what I'd order in any food delivery app. The server forgot about us, my drink was late & when it arrived it was watery & tasteless with hardly any alcohol.
