We had a wonderful dinner at India Rosa, Dix 30 on the eve of Canada Day.

A special shoutout to Daniel, our cheerful & attentive waiter, whose service elevated the entire experience. He was knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, & made sure we felt well taken care of throughout.

The star of the evening, however, was the lamb biriyani - absolutely sumptuous & bursting with flavor. Hats off to Chef Vikram for crafting such a memorable dish!

India Rosa has truly brought Indian fine dining to the South Shore. If you're in or around Brossard, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Pros: food was good, good ambiance & the waitress knows everything & pretty nice

Cons:
We went yesterday. The bill was $250.65, & the credit card machine displayed different preset tip percentages. I believe it started at 19%. I selected the lowest percentage available, which was either 19% or possibly 16%. However, the total with the tip came to $292.07.

Based on that total, the tip amount was slightly more than 16% calculated after taxes, rather than before taxes. This is against the law, as a regulation has been in effect since May 7th requiring tips to be calculated before taxes. While I can't be 100% certain where the 19% figure came from, I am sure the machine was preset to calculate the tip after taxes.

In case you say will say'the machine was set up this way, so we cannot change it.' Since the law came into effect, the SRV/MEV technician can easily update the settings to comply.

I chose not to say anything at the time because we had two kids with us whom we had invited to dinner, & I didn't want them to see me arguing with anyone.

Belle soirée! & Anaïs nous a offert un service impeccable, sans prétention. La salade gourmande manquait de vinaigrette & tombait un peu à plat.. La sangria blanche, par contre, un vrai péché en bouteille! :) Les prix sont un peu élevés, peut-être & feront que ce ne sera pas une destination pour les sorties en famille & ça restera une sortie à deux, dorénavant!

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration & A Culinary Revelation!
My recent visit to India Rosa DIX30 was, without exaggeration, one of the most exceptional dining experiences I've ever had. We chose India Rosa to celebrate my mother's birthday, & from start to finish, it went above & beyond every expectation.
I'll admit, my perception of high-end Indian restaurants in the past has sometimes been that they might sacrifice a bit of authenticity for presentation. I could not have been more wrong about India Rosa @DIX30 ! Every single dish was a vibrant, nuanced, & utterly authentic masterpiece. From the first bite to the last, it was a culinary journey through the rich & diverse flavors of India, prepared with an evident passion for tradition & an incredible finesse. The spices were perfectly balanced, the ingredients incredibly fresh, & each plate told a delicious story.
Beyond the astounding food, the entire evening was elevated by the impeccable service. A special shout-out must go to our server, Jade. She was an absolute gem - incredibly helpful, genuinely welcoming, & attentive without being intrusive. Jade anticipated our needs, offered fantastic recommendations, & truly made us feel special, contributing significantly to the joyful atmosphere of my mother's birthday celebration. Her warmth & professionalism were truly commendable.
We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our evening, & my mother was absolutely thrilled. India Rosa has not only redefined my perception of fine-dine Indian cuisine but has also set a new benchmark for exceptional dining experiences. We cannot wait to return! 😎

The food & drinks were excellent. We especially enjoyed the tandoori chicken & the tandoori mushroom with paneer as appetizers - both were full of flavour. For our main dishes, we had the Punjabi chicken, pilau rice, raita, & a daal dish - all delicious & well balanced. The garlic naan was a standout. The restaurant is beautifully decorated & exceptionally clean, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion. We'll definitely be going back
