I went to Île Jeju on a Thursday specifically because I had seen photos of their fridges stocked with Korean convenience-store (kobini) style food, & I was really looking forward to trying it.

Unfortunately, when we arrived around 12-1 PM, both the fridges & the hot food section were completely empty. There were only a few fruit cream sandwiches & some chips available, which was pretty disappointing considering that was one of the main reasons we came.

We also tried the black sesame latte & sweet potato latte. The size of the drinks was definitely worth the price, but unfortunately the quality wasn't there. Both drinks tasted very diluted & more like milk than black sesame or sweet potato.

Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially since we went out of our way to visit for the food selection. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

Came for a light lunch to pair with my matcha & was satisfied. Chicken sando was interesting. It wasnt the creamy kind, it had some kind of soy sauce, not too much, with coleslaw & pickles. I liked it. I then had their strawberry matcha latte, it was really good too. It was topped with ube lactose free foam like all their other drinks & was subtle tasting. You can see in the color it's not super sweet. Next, the strawberry part is like jam, it was very natural & didnt overpower the matcha. I personally & usually take my matcha drinks with oat milk but not this time & it was pretty good as is-- they use 2% lactose free milk. My drink was 9.20$ & my sandwhich too.
The service was nice & patient.
The chairs at the round table are heavy to move & get around.

A cute counter-style café selling Korean convenience store snacks & drinks. Seating is limited but the space doesn't feel cramped. We visited early in the day so not everything was fully stocked yet, but they were happy to make things fresh on the spot. We ordered the egg sando, bulgogi gimbap, & a matcha latte. The food was decent, though a bit bland for our taste. The matcha latte was a pleasant surprise - the matcha came through well without being overpowered by the milk & foam. A nice spot to pop by when you're in Royalmount.
