Globalement, Il Cortile est présenté comme une vraie trattoria italienne dans une cour charmante, avec des plats savoureux et bien présentés et un personnel attentif et chaleureux. L'ambiance est européenne et cosy, idéale pour les dîners intimes, les retrouvailles et les célébrations. Les clients apprécient les portions généreuses, le cadre et les desserts et gnocchis, ainsi qu'une carte des vins bien fournie et un bon rapport qualité-prix. Des ralentissements de service en période de grande affluence et quelques variations de plats sont mentionnés, mais l'expérience est globalement agréable et donne envie de revenir.
Very underwhelming food experience. For the price of the dishes the taste was not really there. I ordered the seafood linguine with a white wine sauce, although the pasta was cooked perfectly the sauce was watery & the dish itself lacked flavour.
Where they lacked in flavour, they gain in service. All waiters/waitresses were attentive & making sure everything was ok for our large group.
I have heard a huge plus for this restaurant was for the courtyard, however the night we went it was pouring rain. The staff was very kind & offered outdoor seating as they did have heaters, however we opted to still sit indoors.
Wonderful night with an authentic European feeling & food. Special thanks to James for taking such good care of us. Will come again when in Montreal. ☺?

We recently had a bridal shower for my daughter at Il Cortile &, while the weather did not cooperate for us to use the lovely courtyard, Dino & his staff were extremely accommodating & kind & a real pleasure to deal with! The service & food were excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant which has been around for many years.
I had the pleasure to celebrate my 20th birthday at the cortile restaurant & it was simply amazing! Starting from the FOOD I've never ate a filet mignon well done, cooked & spiced exactly like I wanted in Montréal. The chef needs a 100/10 ⭐️. Next the service was marvellous, James & Hicham gave us the most amazing service ever in Montréal, My guests & I were all happy, we had an amazing night & we are definitely coming back!❤️
Ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale, parfaite pour passer un bon moment. Le personnel est accueillant & attentif, ce qui a rendu mon expérience encore plus agréable. La cuisine est top. C'est un endroit où l'on se sent bien dès qu'on franchit la porte !
Un restaurant italien authentique avec la plupart des pâtes fait maison dans une ambiance classique on se croirait en Italie. Service impeccable & attentionné sans trop en mettre. Mon restaurant préféré à Montréal

Service was really good but food is not. I had the pastas with "wild" mushrooms that weren't wild.. lol. Pastas were not cooked & the sauce had no taste.
As Italian in Montreal I can officially say I've found my favourite Italian restaurant in Montreal. Yes it's a little price but it's absolutely worthy for quality & quantity of food. The service it's out of this world, our server (madur/ madir sorry if I've butchered your name) went above & beyond to give us the most amazing dinning experience. If you want to have a real Italian dinning experience I really suggest you this place.

We recently celebrated our engagement party at Il Cortile, & we cannot thank Dino, James, Mansour, & the entire team enough for making it an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived, the team took charge, providing exceptional support & service. The terrace setup was particularly stunning & truly elevated the experience. During the cocktail hour, the staff was attentive & proactive, ensuring our guests were never without a drink. The cocktail hour felt relaxed & enjoyable, with servers consistently offering hors d'oeuvres. Dinner service was equally impressive. The food was served promptly, with ample time between courses. The team was very mindful of the many dietary restrictions from some of our guests, which we greatly appreciated. Throughout the meal, the staff ensured that glasses were always filled & plates were promptly tidied. As we transitioned to the dancing & dessert portion, Mansour created a beautiful outdoor dessert table/dancing area. The staff continued to offer attentive service, allowing us to enjoy the evening. We wholeheartedly recommend Il Cortile for any event. The team exceeded our expectations & made our engagement party so special. Thank you again for everything-we will definitely be back!
Such a Romantic & Lovely restaurant. Absolutely loved the atmosphere & had a great dinner date at Il Cortile's Patio. Service was friendly & food was amazing as well. Great choice of cocktails & impressive extensive wine list. Recommend for a special occasion & a dinner date.
