I had an amazing birthday supper at this cozy hidden restaurant! I ordered fettuccine with shrimp & tomato sauce, & the chef's generous amount of shrimp made me really happy. For dessert, I had a cheesecake, & it was also delicious. Finally, I appreciate the server for being attentive & kind throughout the night, which made my experience at this restaurant unforgettable & I definitely would return. Thank you so much!!
I had a birthday dinner here for my friend, & the staff were incredibly warm & welcoming. The lasagna I had was amazing, & they added pepper & cheese at the table to our preferred amount, which was a lovely touch. I also had mango gelato, which was so nice & chewy just like real mango. Overall, both the meal & dessert were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was so cozy, & I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the terrace next time.

We had a party of seven & we had a beautiful table outside.
Food was excellent, the pastas all came with an appetizer. I loved my fettuccine & all my friends liked their food. Would recommend the fettuccine & bolognese.
James our server was so sweet & accommodating. He turned an extra heater on for us. & at the end he gave complimentary desserts!! Thanks James!!!!
I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm & welcoming. Our waiter, James, went above & beyond-he not only explained the menu in detail but also shared some of the history behind the restaurant, which really added a special touch to the evening. Mansour, the bar manager, was also incredibly kind & attentive.
As for the food-absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, & packed with flavor. From the starters to dessert, every dish was a hit.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience with excellent service & amazing food. I'll definitely be coming back & recommending this spot to friends & family!
Merveilleuse expérience à ce restaurant. Service excellent, entouré d'un décor magique. Vous pouvez facilement oublier que vous étes à Montréal. La nourriture était excellente. Favourite place we have visited in Montreal! Beautiful environment & atmosphere, our waiter James gave the sweetest most attentive service i have ever experienced. He was patient with us explaining the menu options & was always offering suggestions for drinks, desserts & meals. Great italian food, the ceasar salad & gnocchi pasta was 10/10! Would 100% recommend trying this place if you're in the area.
Great atmosphere, was seated in the outdoor courtyard. The vibe was very pleasant.
The food was amazing, we went for F1 weekend, & the menu was very nicely put together. All of the entrees we tried was delicious, as well as the pasta, gnocchi, & desserts were amazing.
Hicham took good care of us, Dino & the other staff were excellent as well!

We celebrated my dad & brother's birthday this weekend & were received by an incredibly welcoming staff. We've been to Il Cortile countless times & it NEVER disappoints. The weather was perfect which made this beautiful Italian caché garden restaurant the perfect, cozy spot for an elegant evening. Dino was the perfect host, as usual, & his team was kind, courteous, & super helpful & versatile. Everyone is always willing to help, whether it's offering to take a family photo, or switching something on the menu to accommodate us, we are very grateful for their hospitality. The food was exquisite: meatball melted in your mouth, osso bucco fell off the bone & the dessert was delectable 😋. The female server was sweet, so pleasant & genuinely attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back for more great memories! Thanks Il Cortile staff for a wonderful evening!
We recently celebrated our engagement party at Il Cortile, & we cannot thank Dino, James, Mansour, & the entire team enough for making it an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived, the team took charge, providing exceptional support & service. The terrace setup was particularly stunning & truly elevated the experience. During the cocktail hour, the staff was attentive & proactive, ensuring our guests were never without a drink. The cocktail hour felt relaxed & enjoyable, with servers consistently offering hors d'oeuvres. Dinner service was equally impressive. The food was served promptly, with ample time between courses. The team was very mindful of the many dietary restrictions from some of our guests, which we greatly appreciated. Throughout the meal, the staff ensured that glasses were always filled & plates were promptly tidied. As we transitioned to the dancing & dessert portion, Mansour created a beautiful outdoor dessert table/dancing area. The staff continued to offer attentive service, allowing us to enjoy the evening. We wholeheartedly recommend Il Cortile for any event. The team exceeded our expectations & made our engagement party so special. Thank you again for everything-we will definitely be back!
The food was extremely disappointing compared to the price. we ordered different meals & i cannot put my finger on what I even liked. the taste was blend. overall not going to come back. the dessert which was a tiramisu cake was very good though. The staff were nice & helpful as well. the atmosphere was pleasant.
Dino, the owner/manager of Il Cortile was so wonderful & made my husbands birthday party celebration with our friends & family very special. The food was delicious from the appetizers, to main course to the dessert. An extensive wine list to choose from & a lovely atmosphere. Our server (Jasmine) was so professional, kind, polite & attentive without hovering. I highly recommend Il Cortile for a lovely lunch or dinner or celebration, without hesitation. If the weather cooperates then ask for a table in the courtyard surrounded by beautiful flowers & dine al fresco. We look forward to many more meals at this Italian restaurant. Bravi Tutti!!!!!!!

This restaurant was amazing. The service was fantastic, thanks to our server, James, who was so friendly & gave great recommendations! The overall atmosphere was so cozy & authentic Italian. Every dish was incredible & the desserts were the cherry on top! Highly recommend!
Very nice & cozy restaurant where you can enjoy delicious italien food. The atmosphere is very calming. James was very kind! We started off with green salad & bread. Then I had the fish of the day (it was tuna), followed by dessert & an espresso (both the chocolate & tiramisu cake as well as the keylime pie were delicious)
We were really disappointed. Our first server would barely come to the table & forgot to put our dinner order in. We finally asked after an hour. The seafood was completely over cooked & was incredibly overpriced for what we got.
The second server that came by after the first one ghosted us was super sweet. She got us a free dessert & drink. Although appreciated, I wouldn’t recommend for dinner but maybe dessert & a drink on their patio.
