Waiting an hour for my take out that I've ordered ahead of time.
Food was meh & super small portion.
Do not come wate your money
No words can describe how much I'm in love with this place! It's very small but it makes it especially cozy - straight out of a fairytale. Korean music, mini-library, a lot of cute decorations & of course lamps, the vibe is on top! Also as an introvert I loved their order screen - you can see all of the menu with photos & customize your order, no need to ask about all the ingredients & be nervous about mispronouncing the unfamiliar word!
I also was very pleasantly surprised about how affordable prices are! The food portions are big & it's DELICIOUS! I tried the snow crab gimbap & now it's one of my favorite dishes! & it costed around 11$. This place is must have to visit if you're in Montreal! Especially if you're an artist or love whimsical, magical vibes & Korean food!
As a son of former small business owners, I can recognize a mom & pop shop from a mile away, & this is one such place. It was clear to me that the spicy pork dosirak was made with care & keen attention to taste. I felt as if I had been transported back to the boonsik diners I miss so dearly back in Korea. I always feel like Korean food in Montreal is just, far too inadequate in taste compared to Toronto or Vancouver, but this place gives me hope that we are finally getting Korean food right in this city.
the food was AMAZING! The atmosphere is so cozy. If youre looking for korean food snacks, it should be your go to!
Great food & friendly service! FYI: it's a very small place (two tables). Tteokbokki was a highlight! So refreshing that they don't force a tip option. Thank you!
Food is good but the staff is extremely friendly. Cant remember another time restaurant staff opened the door for me since my hands were full
This place is such a hidden gem! Literally everything I've tried so far was 10/10. The only thing to keep in mind is it's a small place so you might not be able to dine in, & also there's no bathroom inside. The service is excellent otherwise.
Beau petit restaurant Coréen, la nourriture est excellente (le bulkogi & le kimchi en autre).
Cozy small place with two tables. It's more for takeout. Sparkling juice was good.
Very good food & fresh made to order!
Unfortunately very small but cute seating area & no water offered.
Love: jeyuk (spicy pork) & the kids loved the triangle kimbap
Les kimbaps étaient très bons!
J'ai goûté au poulet épicé & thon/kimchi.
Un petit restaurant à essayer!
Really nice & cozy Korean restaurant. Good vegetarian options. My highlights were the vegetarian kimbap & the Yubuchobap, delicious!
With a 4.9 rating on Uber Eats, & over 260 reviews, this had to be amazing, right? Right? Oh.....not at all. It was... barely edible.
So I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken. I mean, the best fried chicken in the world at a place with this kind of rating has to hit hard. For $26 I got what can only be seen as a side order. The box was so small that I was looking for the rest of it. It was glorified General Tao Chicken, that's all. It was nowhere near Korean Fried Chicken. Small bites of white mean with a batter akin to what you see at a Chinese restaurant, & a similar sauce. Such a dissapointment. Luckily my cousin & I ordered a Tuna Kimbap to share, but it seemed they took the tuna straight out of the can & into a poorly constructed sushi roll. Dry, & the one tiny soy sauce packet was insufficient to deliver any moisture or flavor.
Nothing about this would tempt me to try again. I'm really curious as to how it accrued such a positive rating. Now I'm just said I spent the money, sad I wasted the calories & & I'm still craving REAL Korean friend chicken.
