I love everything about this place. Great food, great ambiance, & François is the best server I've ever had. Hasn't changed in years, prices are still reasonable. Highly recommend.
This place has the best tacos that has ever touched my lips. Also, the nacho chips are ✨homemade✨Everything was so fresh & delicious! Me & my family look forward to coming back here! Also, the lady who served us was very very kind! ♥️
Excelente la limonada de bourbon. Recomiendo los nachos El pollo frito muy rico Las costillas de cerdo también. Todo muy bueno
The guy serving us was awesome, quite the character. Love the Nascar & all the Americana!
Excellent food, great service. Beware of cost, the bill can add up very quickly.
Amazing chicken tacos, first restaurant i tried in the city! perfect ambience & perfect service! could not be happier! ♥️
The good here is always great, the service is awesome & vibe is the best. A true Montreal gem
Quirky place with a hole-in-the-wall vibe, well executed comfort food, great waiter, this place got it all
Je viens de commander via Uber leur bucket de poulet frit, & WOWOOW c'est honnêtement le meilleur poulet frit que j'ai mangé, entre la sauce umami & la salade chou...franchement chapeau
Good food, Great Customer service, & Amazing staff! This small business has very kind knowledgeable staff that clearly care about their customers' satisfaction. They love to explore new dishes variations to add some novelty & perhaps a sense of adventure. Mixed with the cozy atmosphere, you end up with quite a pleasant experience.
Not what it used to be, but was still good. Lemonade is a bit on the sweet side... you've been warned!
The staff are so nice here compared to most places in Montreal. I was also surprised at how good the food is. Especially the dessert!

Came to eat with my fiancé on a cold night & they made us wait outside which was fine but after waiting almost 30 mins when we were told it would be 10 we noticed the manager/owner was letting other people sit inside & order before us. We waited another 10 minutes & another group of people were seated right when they showed up so we paid for our drinks & left. I have been before & the food is pretty good but the service is terrible, I'll never go back.

A lot of hype but unfortuntately the food was simply not good. It had no taste & was overpriced... So many better options for Mexican food I had the steak burrito & my gf the bbq chicken. & carlos & pepes, three amigos cartel even taco bell or chipotle tastes better. Not an understatement the burritos were tasteless & expensive. Will not go back.

Hands down the most disappointing restaurant/bar experience I have had in Montreal. Icehouse is over priced, the food & beverages are beyond underwhelming, & their customer service is yet to be discovered.
We ordered a pitcher of Bourbon Iced Tea. As our waitress walked the five steps from the bar to our table I witnessed a fifth of the beverage wash over the floor. I requested a replenish, which the waitress agreed to & then never returned for. As my boyfriend & I finished our pitcher, we soberly asked each other if perhaps the bar forgot to add bourbon to our 40$ pitcher.
It is necessary to order food at Icehouse if you are looking to get a drink, as it does not have the licence to sell alcohol alone. We ordered tacos, 8$ for a half appetizer portion composed of the most basic, at home mexican cuisine since taco bell.
The highlight of our experience at Icehouse was our waitress forgetting to bring a friend her 40$ pitcher after ordering it three different times. I am extremely happy only one of us had to dish out 40$ for a single shot of Bourbon.
Leaving an 8% tip for our invisible waitress was the most regretful act I have made this entire summer.
Montreal is filled with small, non-franchised resto-gems. Here are some pleasing alternatives found in the same neighbourhood as Icehouse:
Else's (156 Roy Est), Dieu du Ciel (29 av Laurier Ouest), Big In Japan (4175 Boulevard Saint-Laurent), Réservoir (9 Rue Duluth Est)
