After a long day of touring around Montreal, my husband & I were hungry & looking for somewhere close to our Airbnb for dinner. This was about a 5 minute walk away & we love Spanish food, so we were excited. We started with the pan con tomate, the jamon croquetas, & the bunuelos de bacalao. The bread was crispy on the edges & soft in the middle, topped with perfectly salty tomato. The croquetas & bunuelos were both incredible, the croquetas were creamy, salty, & rich, & the bunuelos were salty with a hint of sweetness from the maple syrup reduction. We shared a seafood paella for 2 as our main & it was unbelievably good. The rice was crispy around the edges of the pan (the perfect socarrat layer) & all the seafood was cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared the creme brulee, which was decadently creamy & flavored with orange. The meal was a delight from start to finish & the service was attentive & well-paced. We would definitely come back if/when we find ourselves in Montreal again.View more

We had a seafood Paella for which I would come back any day of the week, Churros & tres leches were also espectacular. It can get really busy so go early on the night. UNFORGETTABLE MEAL. Honestly the ingredient quality & flavors & cooking are hard to beat. Some of the best paella & gambas I've ever had - the spice is perfect & the seafood is so fresh & cooked perfectly. The sangria was so refreshing & fantastic & just the perfect balance of sweet & fruit & wine. Service was attentive & kind; we had a large party of 7 & the staff went above & beyond. Desserts were also to die for, as well as the post-meal coffee. The pineapple cake in the frozen pineapple & the churros knocked it out of the park. Nous avons dîné à ce restaurant pendant notre passage à Montréal. Super ambiance, super terrasse, d'ailleurs nous recommandons la réservation! La carte est riche, beaucoup de choix donc vraiment une super carte ! Nous commandons nos tapas (3) ainsi qu'une paella pour une personne en précisant à la serveuse (qui était adorable) que mon compagnon est allergique à certains crustacés elle me confirme que dans cette paella il n'y a pas ce genre de produits. Les tapas étaient très bons & la paella arrive & je vois quelques crevettes sur le dessus. Je renvoie la paella avec beaucoup de culpabilité envers la cuisine qui fermait peu de temps après ! On me demande quelle paella je souhaite nous prenons donc une paella sans produit de la mer pour leur faciliter la tâche il me propose une paella au poulet & lapin que j'accepte . 10 minutes plus tard la nouvelle paella arrive, un énorme plat, nous comprenons que celle ci est pour deux & non pour une personne comme convenu au début. La serveuse me dit que cette paella ne peut pas être faite pour une personne seulement pour deux. Je me pose la question sans pour autant demander le prix sachant que je l'avais devant mes yeux, qu'on me l'impose, & que j'avais déjà dérangé la cuisine. La surprise fut énorme quand sur l'addition j'ai vu le prix de la paella pour deux personnes & non pour une. J'ai exprimé mon mécontentement à la serveuse qui n'a su rien faire ni rien me dire à part « désolée » le manager lui donnait ses ordres dans notre dos en nous demandant si nous voulions un dessert ou un verre. Nous l'avons gentiment refusé. Le manager a été d'un courage immense en envoyant cette très très très gentille serveuse se prendre tous les reproches que j'aurais été ravie de lui dire en face. Bref, un comportement digne d'un serveur sans aucunes formations, avec des principes proches du néant qui ne correspond ni à la gentillesse ni à la générosité & au respect de ce que devrait être la restauration en général. Merci à la demoiselle qui a été d'une grande amabilité envers nous & qui a su palier le manque de professionnalisme de son manager qui a préféré rester devant son ordinateur sans prêter la moindre attention au coeur de son métier: les clients ! & je vous dis cela venant d'une responsable d'un 3 macarons Michelin. I have nothing to say against the service, the girls were very friendly. The atmosphere was okay, but I've probably tasted the worst paella I've ever had in my life. The food was ok but really nothing more. The service is also quite slow (Wednesday) so be prepared for that. The mushroom appetizer was decent but the sauce was very watery. The churros were terrible. The paella wasn't bad but not memorable. Overall disappointing place & will not be returning.View more

C'est très cher pour ce qu'il y a à manger. L'attente pour la paella a été sans fin (plus d'une heure pour un plat de paella pour deux). Servie avec des assiettes à dessert, chaque personne était juste capable de remplir son assiette une fois, donc c'est pas grand-chose pour l'attente... On a passé le plus clair de notre temps à attendre nos plats en essayant de divertir notre bébé qui n'en pouvait plus d'attendre. Heureusement que le bar d'à côté avait un concert rock jazz, ça mettait de l'ambiance dehors.View more

I can't compare to other spanish restaurants since it's my first but it was amazing!!! The tapas were incredible. My favourite was the Bunuelos de bacalao, the complexity of the taste so subtle yet it's an explosion of flavours between the lemon zest & the maple with a fine fish taste. The patatas bravas is a must have & super to alternate from a dish to another. The paella was beyond expectations & tuna was so fresh. Overall it was one of the best that I have had di far in Montréal!!View more

Food is very good but the serving amount is extremely small even when not eating tapas. The paella for 2 can easily be eaten by a single adult. I recommend the Torrijas with ice-cream for dessert. & you have to order an entry dish or you will leave hungry. Without drinks a dinner for 2 is easily above 100 dollarsView more

Best one I've had in Montréal so far. Their desserts were equally as exquisite. The staff was also really attentive & helpful when we had questions. Au.niveau de l'ambiance le look est parfait, on a l'impression de sortir du Québec, lumière un peu tamisée, belle musique espagnole pas trop forte. Pas une grosse salle on se sent en intimité. Niveau service je n'ai rien attendu tout arrivait à la file & c'était parfait. Mais la vraie étoile c'est la nourriture. J'ai bien aimé le format tapas à partager. Il y a plusieurs options végétariennes, ce qui permet de rassembler plus de personnes. Pour notre part on a goûté à la courge avec chou mariné, les aubergines frites avec miel,yaourt, féta & noix de pin, le pain aux tomates, l'omelette espagnole &, option carnivore pour moi, la joue de porc avec crémeux de pomme de terre & légumes. TOUT etait délicieux, mes préférés étant la courge(wow) & la joue de porc tellement tendre. Pour dessert, une crème brûlée malheureusement moins efficace, l'amertume de l'orange ayant gâché mon plaisir, & un gâteau tres leches tellement satisfaisant qu'on en aurait léché l'assiette. Leur sangria est vraiment excellente, même en format virgin. Découverte faite par hasard en cherchant quoi manger & on va assurément retourner essayer la paella. Pour le prix 120$ pour 3 à manger bien assez & découvrir de nouvelles choses, c'est très raisonnableView more
