Absolutely delicious Pho. Good sized portions & extremely flavourful broth. The service at pick-up was friendly as well.
The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star is that you guys have to do something about the take out containers. The large one holding the noodles/meat etc…'s lid is quite literally impossible to open unless you squeeze it, but the small one holding broth that sits atop the large one in the lid's centre was leaking all the way home, so Needless to say opening the large lid caused a mess & a half. The concept is great having one container fit inside the other, but the lids need a serious rethink.
Nouveau sur Wellington. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables. Choix limité mais tout est délicieux. Belles portions & excellent service. Bon endroit pour une soupe pho assez correcte.
Good experience at I Am Pho. I had the #17 & I must say that it had a little something the other pho restaurants on the street do not have.
Next time I'll have to try one of their soups since it seems to be their specialty!
Also, their Chè Ba Màu was pretty good! Glad the staff recommended it to me :)
Edit: Came back for the soup 😳 & I WILL come back again. 🤤
The staff was once again remarkable.
Warmed up on a chilly -20 day with a steaming bowl of beef pho at this restaurant! Happened to be in the area for a massage appointment, & stumbled upon this gem. Satisfying & flavorful, just what I needed. Great spot for a comforting meal!
We came a couple of times to give a chance because we live close by & owners seems young & nice. But now we prefer go downtown to taste a good pho.
For the price, we expect more meat in the pho, also the soup taste is kinda bland. I can't find the rich flavour of Vietnam in there. I want encourage you with your business but you need work more on your recipe.
This a is one of my favorite establishments on the Well, definitely go-to no matter what time of day.
I typically get the pho, I've tried majority of them & they're all delicious!
Today, I tried the #17, as it wasn't quite'pho weather.' It was exactly what I wanted, as I typically get the grilled chicken pho (#13). But I also wanted their imperial rolls, so when I saw this option, I was excited!
The bowl was delicious, as expected. I don't know what it is about their grilled chicken, but I crave it often.
Lastly, what makes this one of my favorite spots is their host/server, Stephanie.
I've worked in customer service for over a decade & unfortunately, the bar is so low nowadays.
As for Stephanie, her customer service goes above & beyond. She's attentive, kind, has a positive attitude & does everything with a smile!
Don't get me wrong, I'll keep coming back for the food, but if I see that Stephanie is working, I'm more likely to enjoy a meal, the service & the atmosphere.
P.S. Today, they were playing slow jazz, which is appreciated!
Pho was bland, you could see through the meat because it was so thin. Portions are to be reviewed with the price. There are better options in Verdun
Water tasted pretty funky too
The grill was nothing crazy, chicken was dry.
Overall just ok. Wouldn't come back
Finally a good Pho place on Wellington.
Pho was absolutely delicious & reasonably priced & I was impressed by how fast the service was. No complaints, great addition to the neighborhood.
By far the best I AM PHO in Montreal. The quality control is incredible. You guys are rocking it.
Delicious!! The best I Am PHO location in Montreal. Highly recommend. The broth for both the pho & bun bo hue (lots of lemongrass, which is perfect) is on point.
The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, however food taste was off & water that was served to us tasted bad. I did not like the pho & only ate half of it. I found that the broth way too salty, lacked flavor, & maybe it's just me, but I found it strange to see big pieces of broccoli in a pho. I also had an issue with the water. It tasted like straight iodine, even after changing it. Overall, I was not impressed.
Decent little place. Food is good but slightly less quantity then other pho places. Quality is good too. Prices prety standard for what it is. Not a lot of choices but good in what they do have.
The take out delivery is well organized & the plates for the deliveries are greatly efficient , best take out for pho in the neighborhood!!!
✨I'm so happy Verdun finally has a pho restaurant that gets it right. The broth is incredibly delicious, rich, flavourful, & comforting in every way. It's the kind of soup that warms you from the inside out which is exactly what I need to survive the cold in Montreal 🥶❄?🥶. The place itself is quite small & can feel a bit cramped, & the staff are just' okay'…service isn't bad, but it's not particularly warm or attentive either. Still, the Pho is so good that I keep going back 🤤👌🏻🍜✨
was strolling around Verdun with no particular plan, just letting my instincts guide me… & wow, what a great decision it was to walk into I Am Pho! From the very first moment, the place gives off a warm & welcoming vibe - clean, cozy, & filled with that delicious aroma that instantly makes you hungry & curious to try everything.
We ordered a few dishes, & honestly, it turned out to be one of the best Vietnamese food experiences we've had in Montreal. The flavors were perfectly balanced - tasty, authentic, & clearly prepared with care. The portions are generous (you definitely won't leave hungry!), & the prices are more than fair for the quality & quantity they offer.
My husband ordered the beef pho, & I have to mention that it was the first time he ever finished an entire bowl - & that's saying something, since he almost never eats meat! I tried a few bites too, & it was absolutely delicious - fresh ingredients, great texture, & a comforting broth that felt homemade.
Without a doubt, I Am Pho just gained a couple of loyal new customers. When food is made with passion & respect for the craft, you can taste it in every bite. This place is a hidden gem in Verdun that deserves all the praise it can get.
👉 Highly recommended for both locals & anyone just passing through the neighborhood. Don't miss it - you'll love it!
Broth is way too salty & the grilled chicken was dry, flavourless & overcooked. The women next to me ordered the short rib pho & it was so tough she couldn't eat it in the bowl, she had to get a plate & pull it out of her soup so she could cut the meat off the bone & into pieces to put back in her soup. It's also pretty ugly inside.
Service was fast, even during a busy lunch hour.
The spring rolls very very fresh & the herbs were nice. The spicey citronnelle soup had a delicious broth.
Unfortunately the pho broth was very light, there was not much flavour to the standard raw beef soup.
