I've been eating at this restaurant for over a year, & I've always loved the food. I even celebrated my birthday here because it's been one of my favorite places.

About a week ago, I placed an Uber Eats order for pickup. I arrived with my 3-year-old son, my partner, & I'm currently pregnant. I politely asked if we could eat our order at the restaurant since we were also planning to order drinks & a few additional items.

The response was simply,'NO.' We were told that because the order had been placed through Uber Eats, we were not allowed to eat it inside the restaurant.

What disappointed me the most was the attitude. The restaurant was almost empty, & we were planning to spend even more money there. Instead, we were treated in a way that felt unnecessarily rude & unwelcoming.

It's a shame because the food is genuinely delicious, but good customer service matters just as much. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't see myself coming back.

Recommended by our barber Kenzo & its on par with some of the best pho I've had in Cali. Great broth, good service, & yummy iced coffee. I'd recommend!

We left without eating so can't comment on the food. We arrived around 2pm & the place was empty. We entered the restaurant & the only server there was wiping tables. She saw us but did not acknowledge us at all. We stood there at the door & watched her & that was when she sat us down. After we sat, we watched her continue to wipe tables, took a takeout order from a patron that walked in after us, processed his payment, THEN gave us the menus. We just sat there, at an empty table, & waited for the menu. We said nothing. By then, one person from our group returned from the washroom, & told us the washroom downstairs was disgusting, similar to the kitchen they caught a glimpse of. We quietly left without ordering anything.

J'aime bien leur soupe. Un endroit tranquille. Je m'y arrête régulièrement après le travail, sur mon chemin de retour à la maison. Lors de mon dernier passage, j'ai remarqué plusieurs livraisons... un endroit très populaire. En hiver, comme en été.

I know my pho! Been eating it for 20 years in street stalls in Hanoi & Saigon & in Toronto & Montreal. When I don't get a plate of sprouts & mint or fresh basil & sauces, I get upset! Now this place has nice broth & had it all & gave it to other people at tables but didn't for us any sprouts n herbs & I was sorry for them. That little bit was all I needed & I'll never go back there!
