About

I AM PHO specializes in the traditional preparation of authentic Vietnamese noodle soups characterized by aromatic, long-simmered broths infused with star anise, cinnamon, and ginger. Each bowl features a balanced combination of fresh rice noodles, thinly sliced meats, and crisp bean sprouts that define the classic pho experience. The menu expands beyond staples to include a variety of Southeast Asian culinary favorites, such as fragrant vermicelli bowls and delicate spring rolls prepared with fresh herbs. Diners find a menu structured around regional flavor profiles that prioritize high-quality proteins and crisp vegetables. The dining environment focuses on efficient service and a streamlined selection of staple dishes that highlight the fundamental techniques of Vietnamese cooking. This establishment consistently emphasizes the foundational aspects of broth-based cuisine through precise seasoning and consistent ingredient sourcing throughout the entirety of the menu.

Review Summary

I AM PHO is widely regarded by patrons as a go-to destination for authentic and comforting Vietnamese cuisine, particularly for its flavorful broth and generous portion sizes. Many diners praise the quick, friendly service and the reasonable pricing, often highlighting the quality of the pho and bun bo hue as standout experiences. While the majority of feedback is positive, some recurring concerns include rising prices, smaller portion sizes over time, inconsistent food quality, and occasional cleanliness or comfort issues like drafts in the dining area. Despite these mixed remarks, a significant number of customers consider it a favorite local spot and frequently recommend it for both dine-in and takeout.

Ordered Bun Bo Hue. The soup was good like others but the meat was overcooked that it was tasteless. This store is new but seems like it is not taken care of. Spoons & chopticks are too old that you can see the yellow dirt on it. Maybe will not coming back.

I ordered lunch on a weekday takeout, I ordered Bun Thit nuong, they were so cheap with the quantity of Bun! Bun is the least expensive to the meal & I only got a so small portion of Bun! Never seen this before!

The food was absolutely amazing! We had the #7 & #17 (apologies, don't remember the names!) & 2 imperial rolls. The food was delicious, hot, & fresh. The staff were very friendly & the restaurant was very clean. Can't wait to come back!
