Pub ambiance is top-notch, but the burgers fall short. Ideal for drinks, but consider other options if a satisfying meal is on your agenda.
I've been going for 23 years strong, & so that can give you an indication of the atmosphere! They have bands playing downstairs & upstairs. Oh, & eat the spicey wings.. just do it!
Great place to drink & hang out with friends. I really enjoyed their poutine, it really hit the spot. There's nothing fancy or special about it, it was just very good. Live music was also great, nothing like hearing a live musician while chatting with friends. Great atmosphere, would return for sure.
Always a great time. Best Guiness in town, really good pub food & unpretentious friendly crowd.
Yasmine is great with service & this place also has live music. Great for a weekend dinner & drinks. Does get busy later into the night.
Popped in pre-game for a bite to eat & had a great meal. I had the Murph burger & it's easily in the top 5 best burgers I've ever had. Despite being super busy our server was great, food & drinks were delivered promptly & we felt well taken care of. My only complaint was the shaky / wobbly table we had to use & the dimness of our spot to sit. Had to use our cell phone flashlight to see the menu.
Very good place to have a beer & make friends! The wings were very good, & beer was awesome
Always a great time when going to Hurley's. The staff is very friendly & professional.
One of the top Irish pubs in town! Supper crowded in weekend! Extremely great atmosphere!
I try to stop in whenever I'm in Montreal. It's especially lively after events at the Centre Bell. If you are lucky enough to hit a night when Patrick Lesyk & Solstice are playing downstairs, I dare you not to have a good time. One of my favorite pubs & favorite house bands anywhere.
Tip: the main room where the band plays can fill up quickly. It's really more enjoyable if you can find a spot in here. Most people are cool with letting you join if they have a couple free chairs...or just stay on the dance floor.
