Partner & I ate here for the NYE tasting menu. The food was delicious & our server was very knowledgeable & helpful. I marked on the reservation that my partner was allergic to shellfish & received a call from the restaurant letting us know that they would make sure it was not an issue with our tasting menu. Highly recommend.

What an incredible way to wrap up 2024! Heni Restaurant absolutely nailed it with their New Year's Eve dinner. Everything-from the food to the service-was flawless. Their creative twist on babaganoush was a revelation: smoky, silky, & packed with unexpected layers of flavor. But the real showstopper? The orange blossom duck. It was tender, fragrant, & hands down one of the best dishes I've had all year. Sasha, our server, was the MVP of the night. He struck the perfect balance between warm & professional, guiding us through the menu like a true pro while making us feel so at ease. Huge kudos to the host & support staff as well-they were friendly, attentive, & kept everything running smoothly. Heni, you gave us a night to remember. Thank you for making our last dinner of 2024 so special. We'll definitely be back in 2025!
On y est allé pour le NYE, le menu était très différent du menu régulier. J'ai été complètement emballé par ce menu festif, servi sur de belles assiettes, bien préparé avec amour passion & délicatesse. Les saveurs , textures, arômes, tout se mariait avec perfection! Noah nous a accueilli avec toute la chaleur & expertise dont il fait preuve. Ils nous a bien conseillé quand le groupe voulait choisir le vin. Ce fut une soirée mémorable!
Pretty decor. Excellent service from our server. There was an issue with out order but it was resolved efficiently & satisfyingly. The gaufrette with rhubarb & cardamon was great just a little hard to eat with a spoon. The cheese roll is good if you like to finish off your meal with strong cheeses. Baklava was nicely presented on a heated stone.
Mon expérience au Heni a été décevante. Nous sommes arrivés à l'heure convenue, mais le gérant nous a annoncé que la table n'était pas prête & nous a demandé d'attendre au bar au sous-sol. Nous avons consommé en attendant, & après 45 minutes, nous sommes remonté en espérant que la table soit enfin disponible. On nous explique alors qu'on nous a oublié mais qu'une table devrait se libérer rapidement. Nous avons dû attendre encore 15 minutes supplémentaires avant de finalement avoir une table. Aucun geste commercial n'a été proposé, malgré les 60 dollars que nous avons dépensés pour 3 consommations au bar pendant cette longue attente d'une heure. C'est regrettable pour un établissement qui se veut de qualité. La nourriture était bonne mais pas exceptionnelle, & les portions étaient un peu juste. La serveuse nous a offert un bon service, je tiens quand même à le souligner.

Definitely one of the best additions to the neighbourhood in a while. The tasting menu was impressive, the wine was amazing, & the dessert was stunning. Tens across the board.
The tasting menu was fun & everything tasted pretty good. It's very loud though & the service felt a bit rushed at times. Wouldn't go if you're planning on having a conversation with whoever you're going with.
We went for MTL a Table & while the service was friendly, we were a bit disappointed with the food. The portions were not that big (especially the frikkeh, which was unbelievably small). Dishes were hit or miss for us. We didn't really like the kibbeh nayeh (raw beef) but we liked the kask-e bademjam (eggplant). The side dishes were good. We particularly liked the halloumi & potato one. The dessert was also good.
I loved my experience at Heni so much that it might have became one of my favorite spot in the city ! I went there for the Montreal a table menu, & everything was absolutely delicious & so flavorful. For the appetizer falafel to the dessert! & the knowledge & passion of the staff only contributed to make the experience even nice

Dans le cadre de Mtl a table, donc bon rapport qualité prix Les plats étaient très bon mais rien de particulierement « extraordinaires » en ce qui me concerne. Serveur super gentil & attentif, quoi que personne ne repassait souvent entre 2 plats (ex pour de l'eau ou pour qu'on pose une question) Chaises très basse, j'avais l'impression que mon amie en face de moi sur la banquette avait 2 têtes de plus que moi ; mais le serveur nous a dit qu'ils sont en processus de les changer. Le chef « gueule » un peu lorsque les plats sont faits, pas super agréable quand la table est proche de (ce que je crois être) la cuisine. Très beau décor, bel endroit.
Food & service were amazing, would 100% recommend. We had the falafels, raw kibbeh, kale dip, fish & lamb; everything was so delicious! Try their tasting menu!

Je lis les avis & m'aperçois que le menu a changé à travers la courte existence de ce resto. Mon expérience a été moyenne au niveau de la nourriture. Prix & intention gastronomique, mais en réalité de qualité bistro. C'était bon, mais dans plus. Les portions étaient petites. Par contre, j'ai été impressionné par la carte des vins libanais, très intéressant à découvrir.
Wonderful, creative Middle Eastern & North African cuisine. Flavorful umami deliciousness! Staff are warm & conscientious. The atmosphere is soothing & stylish. We will definitely return.
