It was truly an unforgettable experience! Even though we're not drinking alcohol right now, we still love fun, creative drinks. The bartender went above & beyond, crafting a special drink that paired perfectly with one of our dishes. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly & brought so much fun energy to the night-it made the whole experience even more memorable. At the end of our meal, they surprised us with some mocktail shots, & we all shared a toast together! The food was out of this world-each dish was bursting with flavor. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate. Highly recommend!View more
Service impeccable & amical. Cuisine & inventions culinaires séduisantes. Expérience toujours aussi totale à chaque fois!View more
Excellent food, a bit noisy atmosphere but cozy Food: we got the mushrooms, tartare, challa bread, squash & fowl, & chocolate forest dessert 9/10 Atmosphere: table heights were weird, a bit loud, but cozy & vibrant atmosphere Service: excellentView more
They are under staffed. A long wait to get seated & a longer wait to get your food. The food, on the other hand, is simply exceptional. Lots of great ideas perfectly executed. I forgave how slow this place was the moment I tasted the first bite. We will be back for sure, but probably after some cheese or light snacks at home first next time.View more
The best dinner I've ever had. Every single thing we had was perfect, we got to sit at the bar & have a great chat with our bartender! He made us amazing cocktails & surprises us with two amazing dishes as well! Will visit again when in Montreal 🩷View more
Thoughtful attention to detail from food to service. I appreciated that very much. We were a group of 3 & had the tasting menu. We were served some of the dishes as one single serving & one shared serving for the two of us sitting on one side of the table. I thought that was weird....either serve three separate plates or one plate to be shared by all of us. My favorite was the mushroom & bread dish. My least favorite was the bitter lima bean plate. I would come again but probably order off the menu as opposed to the tasting menu.View more
Impeccable food & service, came with two friends for dinner last friday. Our table was a bit late but nothing a negroni next door can't fix;). The Wine & spirits list is great, very knowledgeable staff. Now for the foods, everything was phenomenal but special mention to the tartare, pintade & carrots which were out of this world! Can't wait to go back! Bisous a l'equipe vous êtes extremement aimable❤️🔥View more
Recommended by a HoMa local. 5 course fix prix $80 with $65 wine pairing. Worth every penny. We've had wine pairings at other restaurants that missed the mark. At Heliocoptere the wine was diverse & perfectly paired. Servers were friendly, funny, & polished. They easily accommodated all our dietary requests: one friend gluten free, another pescatarian, & 2 different allergies. All meals were outstanding.View more
We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing at the bar. The bartender was absolutely amazing. I wish I got his name to give him a shout out. The tasting menu was excellent. I liked that some of the dishes are for each person, & some come out like a little platter to share. The guinea fowl was so good! I loved the piklis on the tartare. Unique touch. Everything had bold flavors, & they care about using the whole animal or vegetable. Also you can't go wrong when there are tiny dinosaurs to play with lolView more
Bon mais peu dans l'assiette. Donc cher pour la quantité servie dans les assiettes.View more
Amazing place to begin our four day food odyssey of Montreal. Got a seat at the bar, just as we like it, & Cedric, bartender extraordinaire, made it a both fun & insightful evening. We picked the tasting menu & the accompanying wine menu. Oyster mushroom w whipped feta; lobster with zucchini & coconut milk; guinea fowl & dumplings with liver of the fowl to name just a few of the six sharing servings. Great food. Great service. Neighborhood feel. Restaurant Hélicoptère in Hochelaga, just 25 min in car from downtown Montreal.View more
View more
Wow. We are from Vancouver & we are definitely "foodies", & there's not a chance that we will ever return to Montreal without a booking here. Every dish, cocktail & dessert was absolutely perfect. We SO appreciate all the extra touches you made for us too. Although this is certainly an adult-oriented restaurant, my 8 year old son declared this he best restaurant he has very gone to & the best halibut he has ever had, & considering that he is from the west coast of Canada, this is a big deal! Merci!!!View more
Tout a été parfait, excellent, savoureux, délectable, exquis, que de belles saveurs.View more
Les pâtes étaient vraiment délicieuses accompagné du bain & notre serveur était super sympathique! MerciView more
Amazing night at hélicoptère! Our server was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, & nice. The food was outstanding. We opted not to go for the tasting menu as there some things a la carte that we were more interested in & we were glad we did. Out of the 6 dishes we ordered (for two) there's only one I wouldn't reorder & simply out of preference. The menu is seasonal so recommendations will not last the rest of time however their oyster/pleurotte dish is a mainstay & is absolutely worth it. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal, & we felt it was definitely worth the price! When you visit don't hesitate to ask your waiter questions they are super knowledgeable & super go out of their way to make your evening enjoyableView more
