Une très bonne expérience! Le service était agréable & accueillant, le jeune homme était patient & souriant. La nourriture était délicieuse, les portions sont parfaites pour pouvoir partager tout les plats & entrées. Les saveurs sont recherchées & l'équilibre entre elles sont intéressantes. Beaucoup d'options végétariennes. La seule mini déceptions est celle du dessert que j'ai trouvé vraiment sucré & assez cher... Merci le Hayat pour cette jolie soirée.Voir plus

We visited this restaurant after roaming the entire street & we were famished. We walked -in because we wanted to have nice brunch with some protein. We don't wat meat so eggs is the only source of protein which was easily available & we saw shakshuka on the menu so we went in. I knew it was a $$$ restaurant but didn't know they would serve shashuka with just 1 egg for 28 CAD. Shashuka was really delicious but I didn't expect it to come with just 1 egg in it & 1 thin bread toast. We asked them for extra toast, the server was nice enough to mention that the extra toast would take some time & they would also charge us for it. We didn't mind doing that but we just skipped it. The muhmara dip was delicious & it came with free pita so we just ate that with the shashuka. We ordered 2 drinks out of which the rose garden drink was really nice but again they were super pricy. We had their Syrian pudding which was yummilicious. It had perfect amount of sweetness & was garnished really well. Ambience is also really nice. Service was a little slow even though the restaurant wasn't that full. I think the staff is pretty new coz they forgot to serve us water & silverware & when reminded for water the server said he would send someone & forgot again coz he wasn't the server assigned for our table🙄 Usually I re-visit restaurants which serve delicious food but I would not visit this place again coz I felt it was ridiculously expensive. We spent $$$ for just 1 dip, 1 main course, 1 dessert & 2 drinks & the quantity also wasn't enough for the main course. I hope they read this review & work on their costing.Voir plus

Même si nous avons été apeuré lors de notre arrivée par l'annonce du serveur sur le concept tapas du restaurant (3/4 plats par personne)& vu les prix des plats, nous avons uniquement pris du 2 humus en entrée (pour 4) & un plat chacun & c'était largement suffisant. La qualité des plats était superbe ! Rien à redire. Petit bémol sur la carte des vins: le premier prix, 65$ la bouteille tout de même, ne fait pas honneur à la qualité de la cuisine. Il est tout à fait possible de trouver un vin moins onéreux mais plus qualitatif.Voir plus

Fattoush salad served with two teaspoons? Shareable not served with small plates. Portions were too small, food was dry (the meat). Server took away plate before we even finished it. Water glasses were always filled half way. But the drinks were nice & refreshing.Voir plus

Hayat truly offers a fantastic dining experience with its great vibe & welcoming atmosphere. The moment we walked in, we felt the positive energy. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Valerie. She was incredibly nice & respectful, always approaching our table with a warm smile. Valerie's knowledge of the menu was impressive, & her helpful suggestions made our meal even more enjoyable. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the ribs plate, perfectly complemented by a creamy sauce that left us wanting more. Overall, our experience at Hayat was superb, & we will definitely revisit again. Highly recommend this gem!Voir plus

Excellent restaurant. J'avais un peu peur à cause du secteur ultra touristique mais non. Le service était bon. La bouffe était excellente! Vraiment. Mention spéciale à l'hummous à l'agneau. Seul bémol le prix des dumplings au boeuf était un peu élevé (25$ pour 4 dumplings) je comprends que c'est long à faire etc mais quand même. Ils étaient succulents ceci dit. Belle grande terrasse.
