Opened in 1996, Hawgs is an unusual and original place located in St. Leonard, one of the only places offering breakfast around the clock, it's a spacious and comfortable place, ideal for a good time and a drink or simply to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. You can't help notice the original decor (American Style) that decorates the walls. This brings 2 different feels to the place, on one side very colorful and on the other, delightfully retro. There is also a bar for those looking for a drink with friends and a few corners segregating those seeking a little privacy. Also note that they have giant screens that give a modern edge and is perfect for any sporting event. On summer days, the imposing terrace allows you to enjoy the sun while having a nice plate of smoked meat, ribs, their famous poutine, a good steak, burger, or maybe their famous Monterey Jack chicken sandwiches. All this in an atmosphere that gives you the feeling of staying there all day or all night. Upstairs, they offer a mezzanine for 50 people, ideal for birthdays and any other party group. Whether it's for a nice meal with friends, family or business, Hawgs is the perfect place.

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or supper. Reserve for large group gatherings. It has great service, fantastic tasting food choices, & a great cozy fun feel like home atmosphere. I highly recommend it. I have been dining there for years. Breakfast is delicious.

J'adore cet endroit! Aujourd'hui je me suis commandé une assiette pita au poulet avec un jus d'orange fraîchement pressé & tout était délicieux! J'ai eu comme serveuse Lucie & elle donne un service incroyable, je n'ai même pas les mots pour vous dire à quel point j'ai été bien servie! Je vous recommande fortement d'y aller!
Assiette très généreuse à bon prix & ambiance génial. Ouvert très tard & offrant déjeuner 24 hrs. Les serveuses que j'ai eu à quelques reprises ont été très agréables & on offert un excellent service. Je le recommande fortement avec ou sans enfant vous trouverez votre place😉😊
I've been going to Hawgs for several years now & they never disappoint. A very easy place to agree to visit in a group whether large or small. The main reason for my high rating is not only the 24-hour service but especially the menu variety - no matter what you are craving & when, they have it & they are open to receive you. Better yet, if you don't know what you want, you are certain to find something. The Hawgs burger is an easy go-to for dinner but their breakfast menu is incredible across the board. The prices are what you would normally expect in this economy, however surprisingly of better quality than most restaurants in a similar price range. Despite the hours or time of night, the staff has always been very friendly & welcoming. The environment is also a nice hybrid of diner & bar-like, both with booths or regular tables/chairs. Overall I would highly recommend a visit to Hawgs at least once in your lifetime, & it would likely become a place you would frequent on a regular basis.
Tout allait bien jusqu’à ce que la serveuse prenne plus d’une vingtaine de minutes à m’amener ma facture. Nous avons du demander a d’autres serveuses de lui dire que l’on desirait la facture. Pour cela, je n’ai pas laisser de tip a la serveuse parce que je peux comprendre un delais pour ma nourriture mais lorsque toutes les tables d’une même serveuse s’impatientent pour la facture il y a un probleme. La serveuse ne s’est pas gener de me dire que puisque je ne lui avais pas laisser de tip, elle n’allait pas me servir la prochaine fois. De plus, elle a ajouter quelle etait payer 10$ de l’heure & que jaurais pu meme laisser 2$. Je trouve ça abberant & tres embarrassant qu’une serveuse sois rendu a faire une discussion de plus de 5 mins pour exprimer son mécontentement. Je m’impatientais deja pour ma facture & encore je m’impatientais sur ses lamentations. J’ai l’habitude de manger à ce restaurant car c’est un des seuls ouvert tard la nuit & je le recommande même à des amis. A chaque fois que l’on me donne un bon service, je tip mais si je suis entrain de frustrer pour une facture je regrette mais non. Alors qu’on me dise que je ne vais pas me faire servir la prochaine fois parce que VOTRE serveuse prend 10 ans a me faire payer c’est pas correcte. Que je laisse 2$ de tip ou que je me leve sans payer car je suis tanner d’attendre, le choix est clair. Très decu du service que j’ai recu ce soir. & malgré que j’ai l’habitude de manger labas, je doute revenir.

Très beaux pub bon services nourriture très bonne moi j ai essayer les ailes de poulet très bonne bon services serveuse aimable moi je vais y retourner pour essayer un repas plus copieux pour ma première fois je recommande
First time at Hawg's for a birthday lunch with my parents.
First, if you are in a wheelchair as I am the accessible entrance is *behind* the restaurant with a nice ramp & parking spot right next to it. I recommend that someone from your crowd goes inside from the front to alert them to open the door at the back as there is no way to open the door if it's closed.
The premises are great, clean & an acceptable noise level. Seated, our waitress Chantal, did an amazing job of tending to our needs & her demeanour was most enjoyably friendly & efficient.
The menu is varied as you can see online so we opted for the smoked meat platter & a surf/turf. Smoked meat was from Lester's thus you can't go wrong. Medium, it was tender, tasty & not greasy 1 bit. Surf/turf was made up by filet mignon & shrimps. The former could have been a tad less fibrous but the shrimps were simply divine. Dessert, well what can one say when faced withh "Chocolate Torture"...leave space as this is not the "Second Cup"-sized portion.
All in all a first experience made pleasant by our waitress Chantal (Merci Chantal!) & the good food. Next time will probably be trying the breakfast.
