About us
Opened in 1996, Hawgs is an unusual and original place located in St. Leonard, one of the only places offering breakfast around the clock, it's a spacious and comfortable place, ideal for a good time and a drink or simply to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. You can't help notice the original decor (American Style) that decorates the walls. This brings 2 different feels to the place, on one side very colorful and on the other, delightfully retro. There is also a bar for those looking for a drink with friends and a few corners segregating those seeking a little privacy. Also note that they have giant screens that give a modern edge and is perfect for any sporting event. On summer days, the imposing terrace allows you to enjoy the sun while having a nice plate of smoked meat, ribs, their famous poutine, a good steak, burger, or maybe their famous Monterey Jack chicken sandwiches. All this in an atmosphere that gives you the feeling of staying there all day or all night. Upstairs, they offer a mezzanine for 50 people, ideal for birthdays and any other party group. Whether it's for a nice meal with friends, family or business, Hawgs is the perfect place.

Arrivé la en groupe pour une soirée UFC, très content de voir des télévisions situés un peu partout dans la salle, tout le monde pouvait voir l'action de son angle👌🏻. Certes, il y'a des télés plus vielles que d'autres mais je ne suis pas difficile sur ce point là. Ambiance calme, personnel agréable & le smoked meat était au top.

Nice Deli/Bar atmosphere, with sports on the TV screens. Been here a few times, they have a wide range of foods on the menu. Everything I tried so far has been excellent (smoked meat, burger, reubens, ribs & onion soup). They have the usual beers available plus some microbrew ones. I've only been here at dinner time for now but I saw in the menu that they offer 24h breakfast, which is something I love. I'll try it next time, I'll post how it went. Cheers.

We had an incredible time at Hawgs Restaurant! We started our meal with their mouthwatering chicken wings that came with the best BBQ sauce. Next, we had their famous smoked meat sandwich, which was an absolute delight bursting with flavor. Last, we tried their burger, & it did not disappoint! Juicy & packed with flavours. No doubt about it-I can't wait to return to Hawgs for another unforgettable meal!

J'y suis allé pour un smoked meat & n'y retournerai pas. Ruben ok avec frites congelées qui goutent la vieille huile. Service rapide & serveuse pas souriante du tout.

Have eaten here plenty of times. It's a great alternative to the regular 24 hour joints. BBQ ribs, smoked meat, pizza, chicken wings... All really good. Poutine is also good. It's a bit pricey but the service is great & it's 24 hours. They have some 35$ platters that will satisfy most appetites, & if you're not full there's always their desserts. They also serve breakfast 24 hours as well.

Endroit sympa & plutôt tranquille pour un jeudi soir, ce qui a été apprécié! La serveuse est sympa & rapide.
Le smoked meat est ok sans plus. J'ai pris le Reuben mais la sauce est douteuse. Ça ne goûte pas très frais. Je cherche le fromage que je ne perçois pas & la choucroute n'est pas tres goûteuse non plus. Ils bénéficieraient de retirer la sauce qui gâchent le sandwich. Les frites & le smoked meat en soi étaient bien. La portion est généreuse.
.Experience relativement sympa mais je ne reprendrai plus le Reuben.

First time at Hawg's for a birthday lunch with my parents.
First, if you are in a wheelchair as I am the accessible entrance is *behind* the restaurant with a nice ramp & parking spot right next to it. I recommend that someone from your crowd goes inside from the front to alert them to open the door at the back as there is no way to open the door if it's closed.
The premises are great, clean & an acceptable noise level. Seated, our waitress Chantal, did an amazing job of tending to our needs & her demeanour was most enjoyably friendly & efficient.
The menu is varied as you can see online so we opted for the smoked meat platter & a surf/turf. Smoked meat was from Lester's thus you can't go wrong. Medium, it was tender, tasty & not greasy 1 bit. Surf/turf was made up by filet mignon & shrimps. The former could have been a tad less fibrous but the shrimps were simply divine. Dessert, well what can one say when faced withh "Chocolate Torture"...leave space as this is not the "Second Cup"-sized portion.
All in all a first experience made pleasant by our waitress Chantal (Merci Chantal!) & the good food. Next time will probably be trying the breakfast.
