Havre aux Glaces offers a broad ice cream and sorbet lineup with flavors like mango, coconut, pistachio, dulce de leche and maple burnt caramel, and the setting by the canal provides seating with a pleasant view. Service can be fast and friendly on some visits, but slower and more variable on others, so the overall experience can vary. The portions and prices receive mixed notes, with some finding the sizes small for the cost while others praise the quality and the dairy free options. The location by the canal makes Havre aux Glaces a convenient stop to rest after a bike ride or a stroll, and many consider it a must visit for classic flavors and reliable quality.
Really good Gelato 👍. Price isn't too bad! I suggest to get the little containers & share . Comes down a lot cheaper ! Great place to go after a bike ride on the canal & as a insensitive to do it & have a nice treat. Beautiful place with lots of spots to sit. During the summer they put hoses with tiny holes to have nice fresh mist on some spots around to cool down when summer hits hard. Nice service & kind people. Nice spot. Highly recommended to go!
I love the decor & atmosphere. Service is good, but food can be hit or miss. First visit in summer was great at the outside terrace. Recent visit for a business lunch was not so good. Fish had bones in it & service was slow. Shrimps were small & prices were high. I would still give it one more try.
Best ice cream & sorbet! This is a must & we go all time! The mango & the caramel brûlé maple are the best! I've also bought some to take for dessert to a dinner we were invited, huge hit!
Without a doubt, this is the most delicious ice cream you can have. When you eat the coconut flavor, it feels like you're actually eating real coconut. & when I tried their hazelnut ice cream, for a moment it felt like I was enjoying a handful of fresh, tasty hazelnuts. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, just the way it should be.
Our go-to spot for classic ice cream flavours that never disappoint. We got a combo of dulce de leche & pistachio, & maple burnt caramel with coconut milk. Both were delicious, & the prices were reasonable. There is also a nice open space where you can sit & enjoy your ice cream by the canal.
