I love this place, it's one of my top Japanese tapas place. I've been here probably a dozen of times, since I tried it. They have nice drinks, they make a killer bloody Ceasar. This time around when I went thru had changed the menu abit, they didn't have the beef ribs which were one of my faves. But they still have some yummy food. One of my favourite is the candied salmon which is so good, also the rice cake & the sliced beef & rice. This is definitely a must to try especially if you like sharing food. You get to try alot of things. This place is always packed so I suggest to have reservations if you plan on coming here. The workers are also nice & friendly, I will continue to come back here. Google's hours & their website's hours never seem up to date, they never answer the phone, they close early sometimes, & they are not open nearly enough throughout the week but I keep coming back! The food is spectacular, drinks are nice & original, & the service is excellent.Voir plus

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The atmosphere & service were great & the food was perfection! I highly recommend the pork ribs & the beef & cheese skewers. The plates are all tapas style so it's fun to try a few options & share!Voir plus
Just so disappointing
We ordered a pitcher of Sapporo, the beer was rancid & bitter.
We ordered a highball & it was terribly watered down.
We ordered the Takoyaki & only 4 itty-bitty balls came out on the plate.
We ordered the Unagi Yakitori & the equivalent of 1 normal piece of unagi came out but on 2 skewers & was over cooked.
& many more small problems.
I was hoping when i saw the prices online that i was going to have a mildly "luxurious" experience with how overpriced everything is, but i ended up getting sub par japanese pub food for a luxury dining price. (Also the prices online are not the same as in the restaurant. Convenient.)
10.99$ for 4 takoyaki balls is genuinely highway robbery.
Service was decent, but for the price the food & drinks were genuinely pathetic. & idk about you, fellow reader, but i dont go to a restaurant to just have good service, i generally hope to have good food.
Total bill for 2 people with a pitcher of sapporo & 2 highballs came out to almost 200$... talk about insane
The exact same food we ate, & the exact same drinks we drank, would've cost us like half the price at any other izakaya, & if we had gone to Majesthe or Kinka, the food wouldve been twice as good.

Great food, good drinks & nice ambiance/decorations, but we had a such a horrible experience with our server I don't think we would ever come back. We had a large group of guests present, & our server verbally complained even though she had been properly tipped by everyone in the group, she was expecting a higher amount, & that if we "couldn't afford this restaurant, we should go somewhere else next time".Voir plus
