I've been buying bagels by the dozen for years from this place. I live 2 hours away in Eastern Ontario. The young lad who works there gave me a business card so I can call ahead of time for my orders & I wouldn't have to wait 30 min to get it. First time, I called the young fellow the day before & the next day, they had forgotten my order, so again I had to wait. The second time, I called the day before & when I got there, it wasn't ready & I had to wait again. The third time, a lady took my order the same morning & when I got there it was ready... Amazing. Today, I spoke to the young lad who was very rude in taking the order. Five hours later when I arrived, only half of the order of 6 dozens was ready. They asked me to wait, I refused & took those that were ready & left. Bagels are good, but the father needs to set his son straight because this is a business & you don't treat regular customers that way. Poor disorganized service. I even offered to give them my credit card number in case they didn't trust me, but they refused. Three strikes you're out....

Cute bagel place in Marché de l'ouest. Their breakfast sandwich is good! I like that you can call in advance to order & pick up. Lacks a little spice, but good overall 🥯

Anytime that we are in Montreal, we pick up a couple of bags of bagels. Well, my wife decided to bring home bagels from here instead of our usual spot (you know the one) & I have to say...these are superior & will be our regular stop.
They are a little chewier & a little more depth of flavor. THIS is how I remember bagels from when I was a kid living there.
