The decor inside is absolutely beautiful. We asked to be seated on the terrasse because it was a nice evening. The hostess told us there would be no music outside but opted to sit there anyway.
The terrasse was not only lacking music but lacked decor & people too. We were surrounded by plastic tables & plants.
The food was excellent. The service so so. We weren't asked if we wanted another drink after our first round was done.
The entire place was dead on a Thursday evening. I would not return due to the lack of ambiance.View more

This dinery is the true definition of S Class. The style & substance are there. The bartenders are stunning, but they know how to mix their drinks; by far the best cosmo I've tasted. The deco is gorgeous, but the food is even more succulent; I had to control myself from picking up my bowl & licking every ounce of that broth.View more

I went during'Happening Gourmand' & was able to try a 3 course meal. I was so happy they were on the list because I've been very eager to go. I have mixed feelings about this upscale Vietnamese restaurant. We were so excited to try this new Instagrammable restaurant. The first thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the host: she was unfriendly & to be honest, even rude. Not sure if it was a bad day for her, but I believe the professional attitude (especially when you're the first that customers see when they come in) is at least to pretend to be nice. The highlight of this place is the cocktails. They are well balanced, original & delicious. The food was not holistically good. What I mean by that is that the ingredients were quality & fresh, but the sauce & the balance were not to the point, always missing the mark. For example, it was either too salty from too much sauce or one dish even felt like they used sweet chili sauce from the jar. We were a big group, so was limited in time for 2 hours. The waiter was super nice & friendly, but we had to leave at the 2-hour mark, although no one was waiting for our seats. This is a place you go once for the experience, but will not earn my money again. What they did well: - Drinks - It's beautiful, although it does like better on IG - the waiter we had was very friendly & polite Rooms for improvements: - definitely replacing the host we got (1/26/24 at 6pm) for someone more suitable to greet people - the dishes ! Great ideas & concepts, but execution is not there yet on all the dishesView more

I went with a group of four girls for their NYE event which was supposed to continue until 3am but had already died down after 12:30am. Overall, we had a great time, the staff were friendly & they tried their best to make it an enjoyable evening. Had to wait a very long time at the bar to be served but the staff were super kind nonetheless! Not necessarily the place for dancing, people weren't very invested in the music & the place wasn't that full either, but definitely a great place for a calm dinner & drink, if that's what you're looking for! :)View more

I recently went to Hang Bar, a Vietnamese restaurant, & I have mixed feelings about the experience. The first thing that struck me was the charming aesthetic of the place, it's beautifully designed & visually pleasing. The service was also on point, with attentive staff. However, I did encounter a significant downside during my visit - the loud music. It was so deafening that I couldn't even hold a conversation with my friend. While the music itself was enjoyable, I felt it was a bit overbearing, especially given that it was 10 pm, & I presume they wanted to create a lively ambiance. Moving on to the food, I had a bit of a hit-&-miss experience. We ordered the ribs hai hau, which had a generous portion for $19, but it felt like it needed something on the side to make it a complete meal. The banh mi fois gras was a disappointment; it was exceptionally small, not even 6 inches, & priced at $22, which felt overpriced for what you got. On the bright side, the Da Nang fried wings were delicious, but they proved to be a challenge to eat gracefully in a setting that seemed more suited for fine dining. Where Hang Bar did shine was in their cocktails. The cocktails were top-notch, & if I were to return, it would likely be for the drinks. In summary, Hang Bar is a cute spot with a great aesthetic, good service, & fantastic cocktails. However, the loud music, mixed food quality, & pricing for some dishes make me hesitate to return for a full dining experience. If I were to go back, it would be only for a cocktail outing.View more

I reserved a table for my birthday supper & all I can say is that every aspect of my experience was top notch! The food was perfectly curated to fit the theme they embody, with amazing flavour combinations that pleasantly surprised me. The drinks were very unique & delicious, especially the one with popping boba in it (which I’ve never seen done before in a restaurant!). Not to mention, the place is gorgeous & definitely worthy of taking photos. Special thanks to Marc-Olivier the manager who made us feel welcome & took great care of us all night. Would definitely recommend Hang for those looking to celebrate a special event or just to go have a drink!:)View more
