We went for the NYE event that supposedly was sold out. Music was horrible, the place was a mess just full of kids. The atmosphere was very off & uncomfortable. It was hard to stay there & make our moneys worth…Save your money for next year & find somewhere else if you're looking for a memorable night.

Really great experience here. The staff were super accommodating & made the night feel easy. The cocktails were excellent especially the dirty martinis, which are surprisingly hard to get right, & these were spot on. The mango salad was incredible & the Brussels sprouts were also really, really good. The music added a great vibe, & the atmosphere & décor were just lovely.

I tasted some appetizers & the MEAN cocktail, everything was SO SO delicious! The atmosphere is chic & cozy & the music is great, I'll definitely be coming back

Being new to Montreal, I'm always looking for new restaurants to bring my friends to when they visit. Hang was recommended to me by Mass & it was a hit. The plates are great to share & the atmosphere was lovely. Not to mention the music was a vibe. Great service too.

The decor inside is absolutely beautiful. We asked to be seated on the terrasse because it was a nice evening. The hostess told us there would be no music outside but opted to sit there anyway.
The terrasse was not only lacking music but lacked decor & people too. We were surrounded by plastic tables & plants.
The food was excellent. The service so so. We weren't asked if we wanted another drink after our first round was done.
The entire place was dead on a Thursday evening. I would not return due to the lack of ambiance.

J'ai récemment découvert le Hang bar, situé a montreal, & honnêtement, c'est devenu l'un de mes nouveaux restos coups de coeur. Dès qu'on entre, on est transporté ailleurs - le décor est éclaté, artistique & l'ambiance musicale vient compléter l'expérience.
Le service est à souligner : le personnel est souriant, accueillant & vraiment attentionné. On sent qu'ils aiment leur travail & qu'ils veulent sincèrement que les clients passent un bon moment. Notre serveuse connaissait bien le menu, nous a proposé d'excellentes suggestions & nous a offert un service rapide, tout en étant chaleureuse.
Ce que j'ai aimé aussi, c'est qu'on se sent à l'aise, jamais pressé, & les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité offerte.

Where do I start. Overall the food experience was amazing. Removed a star for how overpriced everything is. The Pho broth was like a warm hug, I want that every night before I go to bed or when I'm sick. Question tho, was the giant bone marrow supposed to have anything substantial in it or just decor. It was decor for us. Service was poor, water was refilled but our first plate maybe took 45 mins to come out. It was a Saturday night sure, but please staff accordingly. Oh & after looking at our bill that was split 4 ways, each of us was charged a full order of entree on top. Corrected by the waitress but no apologies for the error. Lastly, while the atmosphere was a nice cozy vibe, music was waaay too loud for dinner music. Hard to have a conversation with your table. Id recommend it overall for the food, so kudos to the chef, but take all of the above in consideration.

A lovely place for a 5 a 7 in the summer, if you're a large group. The cocktails are delish! The staff was incredibly friendly & attentive-special shout outs to Mario & Joyce, who both went above & beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The terrace was lovely & added a home-like feel to the atmosphere. Some of us did mention the lack of music on the terrace, but the manager later explained that Hang was bound by the condos' regulations that didn't allow music in the shared space. While this was one small downside, it didn't take away from the overall positive experience we had.

It's an upscale Vietnamese restaurant. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. Didn't have live music when I went but the whole dining experience was pleasant. Our bartender was super & our drinks were very tasty. Food was delicious & we were definitely go back! Highly recommend!

One visit was all it takes, Hang has now become one of my favorite restaurants. After being turned away by another restaurant because they didn't take walk-ins, I decided to try this place where I have heard so much about. Hang has a very welcoming (we didn't even have reservation yet they still greeted us & treated us like queens), cozy ambience paired with very beautiful & modern decorations. The service by everyone was exceptional, it felt very personalized & the food was simply delicious. Although it is on the pricier side, it is 100% worth it, because who wouldn't want to enjoy excellent food & cocktails + great music from time to time? Thank you so much for the experience & I can't wait to go back!

I went with a group of four girls for their NYE event which was supposed to continue until 3am but had already died down after 12:30am. Overall, we had a great time, the staff were friendly & they tried their best to make it an enjoyable evening. Had to wait a very long time at the bar to be served but the staff were super kind nonetheless! Not necessarily the place for dancing, people weren't very invested in the music & the place wasn't that full either, but definitely a great place for a calm dinner & drink, if that's what you're looking for! :)

Food was delish it didn't lose the essence of Vietnam. Staff were pros, amazing cocktails at the bar, I ordered a beef marrow that had no marrow, told the waitress it was terrible due to the fact, she brought me another that was too my satisfaction. Atmosphere was beautiful, nice house music on that Saturday evening. Well worth the spend. Will come again.

Delicious cocktails, good music but noisy patrons, food is decent but as many reviews mention, portions are on the smaller side Additionally service is very slow... we waited 40 mins to put in our food order. We almost left because of the wait time. Same with getting the check - the waitress was nowhere to be seen.
