Nous avons été manger un samedi soir entre copines. L'ambiance est bonne avec de la bonne musique & une lumière tamisée.
Les cocktails sont excellents. La nourriture est excellente également, bien présentée & assez copieux. Option pour les végétariens.
Le service est rapide & convivial.
Nous sommes allés au Hang Bar un soir glacial (-35 avec facteur éolien) donc c'était très tranquille. Néanmoins, je suis convaincue que c'est une place vivante & ultra sympathique en temps moins extrême. L'établissement est absolument magnifique. Cocktails & nourriture étaient extraordinaires, tout est frais, original, température parfaite, beaux aliments de qualité, beaucoup de saveur.
J'enlève une étoile & j'ai contemplé en enlever deux à cause de notre service plus qu'ordonaire.
Pendant une longue période nous étions une de trois tables de deux personnes dans l'établissement & tout était désorganisé & défaillant, par exemple : service du premier verre de vin avant de faire goûter, devoir redemander 2x l'entrée de bouillon (par le temps que la dégustation de bouillon de 5$ était arrivée, nous avions fini l'entrée & les plats principaux étaient sur le point d'être servis), effectuer soi-même le service de vin alors que l'établissement est tranquille & plusieurs employés sont derrière le bar à observer la salle à dîner sans intervenir sur rien, les plats terminés restent longtemps sur la table, pas d'offre de digestif ou dessert, la serveuse qui disparaît de longs moments, ne valide pas si nous sommes satisfaits avant la quasi toute fin du plat principal. Heureusement les interactions étaient sympathiques & avec le sourire.
Bref, j'espère avoir un meilleur service la prochaine fois car la nourriture est vraiment sublime.

Really cool spot to hang out or for a date night. However, their menu was less appealing to me. Food tastes just basic & lack the final touch for the price. Cocktails are also a bit overpriced.
Really great experience here. The staff were super accommodating & made the night feel easy. The cocktails were excellent especially the dirty martinis, which are surprisingly hard to get right, & these were spot on. The mango salad was incredible & the Brussels sprouts were also really, really good. The music added a great vibe, & the atmosphere & décor were just lovely.
I tasted some appetizers & the MEAN cocktail, everything was SO SO delicious! The atmosphere is chic & cozy & the music is great, I'll definitely be coming back

This is definitely a Montréal must! Decor & Ambiance like no other. Food is incredibly innovative as are the cocktails. Definitely should be noted for being the best Tuesday night in the city 💯 Thanks to Ly for the wonderful service 🥂

Hi! I had the best experience ever last Friday. Hang is now part of my top favorite restaurant in Montreal🥰 chef kisses to our waiter he was perfect from the beginning to the end, we loved him so much!

Came to dine with a friend ordered half of the menu along with some cocktails. Overall generally impressed for it being Vietnamese influenced restaurant. I would reorder the ribs, scallops, tartare & luc lac to share. Interior is warm & welcoming. The staff were great & attentive & the service great overall.
Cass was wonderful with explaining the cocktails! Vietnamese espresso martini was great.
Overall an immaculate time spent at Hang Bar from start to finish.
The front of house staff greeted me & my wife with a welcoming aura. We started off the night with their signature cocktails made by their bartenders. We recommend you try their Pandan Colada.
Food came out within a blink of an eye. Our appetizers, entrees & desserts were brought to us at the right moments. Consider trying the five spice Scallops & their tender ribs those were our favourite dishes.
We will definitely be coming back for more date nights there!

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par le décor absolument stunning & l'ambiance générale, à la fois chaleureuse & moderne. On sent tout de suite qu'on est dans un lieu pensé avec passion.
Le service ? Un 15/10 sans hésitation ! Nous avons eu la chance d'être accueillis par leur serveuse la plus ancienne, une personne d'une gentillesse rare. Elle a pris le temps de répondre à toutes nos questions, de partager son amour pour l'établissement & de nous guider à travers le menu vietnamien fusion avec passion. Grâce à elle, nous avons appris beaucoup de choses sur la cuisine vietnamienne & sur l'histoire touchante derrière The Hang - une histoire de famille, de nostalgie & de dévouement.
Côté cuisine : un pur bonheur. Chaque plat & chaque cocktail étaient une explosion de saveurs, maîtrisés à la perfection. Cela faisait longtemps que nous n'avions pas été aussi surpris & comblés par un repas à Montréal. La fusion des saveurs était audacieuse mais parfaitement équilibrée. Mention spéciale pour le pho au wagyu… même si la recette secrète du bouillon reste bien gardée !
Une expérience vietnamienne inoubliable en plein coeur de Montréal. Nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation, cette fois avec nos amis & notre famille !

But we came for food & we were left unimpressed. Everything is either very overpriced for what you receive or is lacking flavour. Two in my party got the Pho & while the beef was good, the broth / soup was subpar.
