"Food is essential to life; therefore make it good."
If you want to indulge in the flavours of Indian cuisine this is the best place. The ambiance is so homely and with a perfect blend of spices, the food ordered is nothing less than awesome. A nice restaurant to get Veg and Non-Veg food of the best quality. Make time to treat your soul. We firmly believe in this. Good not only in taste but Good in Quality, Variety, Hygiene, freshness, affordability….. in short "Good" in all aspects.
We serve the best Indian food in town. Check out our spicy curries, delicious biriyanis, Ragi Sangati, Hyderabadi Haleem and much more.
Reviews of H2 Hyderabad House show a generally flavorful Indian menu with many reviewers praising tasty dishes, generous portions, and friendly service, making it a reliable go to for locals and visitors. Some takeout experiences note container sizes that feel small and issues with portion control, while a few dishes are described as overly salty or lacking sauce, and a Chana samosa may miss dressings and chutneys. Despite these inconsistencies, the restaurant is frequently described as a standout option with a welcoming vibe, practical hours, and attentive staff who make recommendations and try to accommodate requests. Overall the dining experience is described as enjoyable with many favorites cited such as butter chicken and various curries, and the place is often recommended as a solid choice for authentic Indian food in the area, with guests returning regularly.
I didn't even place the order myself-my roommate ordered from H2 Hyderabadi House for all of us-but the experience was still really disappointing.
He ordered veg platters with 2 rotis, & after placing the order, they called to say rotis weren't available. That part is understandable. But when he asked for garlic naan as a substitute, they said they would only send 1 naan instead of 2 rotis because naan costs more.
The thing is, 2 rotis cost $6 total, & 1 naan costs $5-so it's not even an equal replacement. & honestly, I'm not crying over $1-$2. It's about service & how you treat your customers.
From a customer's perspective, if something isn't available, the restaurant should try to fairly accommodate the order instead of reducing the quantity like that.
Even though I didn't order myself, it still affected the whole meal & overall experience. It just shows a lack of proper service & consideration.
I ordered 2 veg platters & added 2 rotis in Uber. Shortly after, I got a call saying rotis weren't available. That's completely understandable-things can run out. But when I asked for a substitute, they offered garlic naan & then said they would only send 1 naan instead of 2 rotis because naan is more expensive.
This is not about $2-$3-it's about basic service & respect for customers. In the restaurant industry, when something isn't available, you try to make it right for the customer, not reduce the quantity they paid for.
To make it worse, my roommate also ordered from here recently & received only naan without proper items from the meal. That's just unacceptable-how is someone supposed to eat only naan?
What's most disappointing is that they've now lost regular customers because of this. I personally order from here 7-8 times a week, but after this experience, I won't be ordering again. The same goes for my friends living with me, & I definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone.
Very poor service, lack of hospitality, & careless handling of loyal customers. Really let down.

I usually never post the reviews on google but this took me so far & made me very very disappointed.
I am visiting the place called Spicy Grille located at St denis street at 1:35 a.m. & at Google says they are open till 2 a.m.
I drove all the way from southshore as someone in my close friendship recommended it & when I reached here with my 3 other friends & these guys are closed & lights are off & no one in sight.
Like come on if you guys are not open till 2 a.m. why you have it on Google.
Why are you playing with customers every one's time has value.
My Friends recommended me they told me that 2 weeks ago they had a dinner here at 4 a.m. it was amazing & today they are close at 1:30 a.m.
I have even attached the images showing open at Google & there hours to prove that I am not faking it.
This is serious playing with customers.
Very bad experience.
Big thumbs down 👎
Pls don't play with customers put the correct hours respect your customers.
Ordered from ubereats. They use shrink-flation containers & the portion are tiny.
Ordered the chicken tikka masala - wayyyyyy too salty & there was no sauce, it was basically just chicken tikka with a congealed sauce & no flavor.
Ordered the lamb curry - Ice cold & again, SO SALTY & I love salt so this was gross & inedible.
Ordered the Chana samosa - not bad but it was missing a bunch of dressings like the coriander, mint, yogourt, pomegranate seeds, chutney.
Overall very disappointed.
Our favorite Indian spot in the area! The food is genuinely so tasty, not overly spicy, decent portions, & the staff is super kind. We've tried a bunch of different menu items & have never been disappointed! We always know we're gonna have a great meal here & we come back every few weeks. It's just a winner overall.
We came to the restaurant 3 years ago & the food was incredible. The ownership has since changed & the food is terrible. Not enough flavour & definitely is not a Hyderabadi restaurant as it was once named. It was unclean, unkept & run down. I'm truly disappointed that we didn't read the reviews that the quality has gone down from what it once was.
It has really reduced its quality over the years. This time food was just terible. I ordered chaat what i got was a spoon of dahi on papdi with some onions & tomotos on top just blant no spices. When i talk to the guy at reception who took the order he was alway on video call really rude as if he is doing us a favour whilr we are disturbing him. Just pathetic not going there again.
Oufff, where do I start... The order was placed online but even after 30 minutes after plaing the order it wasn't ready. The staff didn't speak French, which was strange since the resto is located on Plateau but I'm not a language police. It took more time to prepare the food, way more than 30 minutes & I did tip BEFORE. The sauces were FROZEN... even after almost an hour. Verdict? Never again.
