A classic Japanese bbq restaurant. All you can eat with high quality products all of which were pure in flavor. I definitely recommend going here with friends & enjoy some time cooking some yummy food. The service was great. We always got our food a few minutes after we put in our order no matter how large. We had a perfect lunch at Gyu-Kaku. We hadn't been before & our server (I think her name was Natasha..!) was very helpful in explaining the lunch menu & generally looking after us. The food is excellent value, & the'ukumara' meats were outstanding. This was my first Japanese BBQ experience & I'm sad I can't come back as I am only visiting Montreal for a short time!View more

Overall a great experience. We were lucky to get a table for two without a reservation on a busy Friday's night. Our server was lovely - helpful, funny & professional. The place is super crowded but well ventilated. We got a combo for two & ended in a good note. The marination was a bit salty to my taste but still delicious. Price is reasonable.
