This was the second Turkish restaurant that I tried & this one was a hundred times better than the other one.
(my name is Behrad , a 10 years old son)
Went there for lunch, walked in at 1pm, the host politely ask me to choose me seat. That was the only time someone spoke to me. The table in front of me & behind me arrived after me, the both got menus ordered & served while I was still waiting for someone to come & see me. I'm sorry but I can't give any review for the food since after a 30 minutes wait I decided to leave & even then no one even ask anything.
We came 30 mins before they closed on Wednesday. The staff are very nice. Food was pretty good.
The only thing I would want to say is it was a bit pricey for the portion.
This meal for two with 1 drink was $105
The food was more than delicious & the service was excellent, all the stuff was really kind & friendly ♥?♥?♥?
Everything is incredible.
Highly recommended.
So far, the best Turkish breakfast I've had besides Turkiye! The service was amazing, & the presentation was just as impressive. Bayram, Miran, & Dilan were incredibly helpful & kind. Highly recommend if you enjoy Turkish food!
I wish I lived here so I could have this breakfast every weekend…..People were so kind, & the breakfast selection was wide & absolutely delicious. Strongly recommended! Thank you for the amazing service.
I tried Alinazik, the filet was super tender & juicy, very tasty dish…the Adana kebab sandwich was very good as well, service was great & fast. Staff were friendly. Don't forget reservation if you go for weekend brunch since it is very crowded.
First time customer & the service & food was excellent. Went on a very busy Friday night & we were seated within 15 minutes. I will definitely go back to try more dishes.
I recently visited this Turkish restaurant in Montreal & had a pretty mixed experience. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a seat, even though there were a few empty tables. The staff explained they were holding them for a bigger party with a reservation, which was a bit frustrating. Lesson learned: definitely reserve ahead of time.
Once we were finally seated, things turned around. The food was amazing-juicy, filling, & packed with flavor. The ambiance & decor were beautiful too, with a warm atmosphere that made the wait feel a little more worth it. It still doesn't fully compare to the experience I had back in Turkey, but honestly, I enjoyed every moment once we settled in.
Overall, great food & vibes-just make sure to book in advance!
,Guys ; the real authentic Gunaydin restaurant is in Istanbul , the second branch is in Dubai near Burj Khalifa - This one in Saint Laurent is a fake , not legit & you don't get value for your money - not at all - We went three days ago for a breakfast -We we were a group of six - If you want to have a folkloric breakfast , you will enjoy it - but to have a good breakfast & value for your money, don't even think about it - It is terrible - rip off - for each one of our group , it cost 33 dollars plus taxe - paying so much for nothing ( for cheese , marmalade , nutella , tea etc ) absolute RIP-OFF also , sweet Kneffe ; was awful - as well - So guys - very bad disappointment - tasteless - THE quality of food doesn't justify the money you pay for it - FIRST & LAST TIME - NO MORE ...
