Honest review shared by 4 family members.

We've been to this restaurant twice now. The first time was a 4/5 experience, but this time it was very bad, the max we could give it now is a 2/5.

The first thing you notice coming inside is that the floor was slippery with some kind of fat or greasy substance.

The second thing is that once seated, the table was so sticky we could move the entire table just by gripping the surface. Very disgusting.

There were multiple flies & bugs around, making it even more unpleasant.

There was NO A/C & it was uncomfortable to eat in. It was a rainy but hot day, 26°C.

We got the family plan for $200, & for what we received, we expected better. We got a plate of ribs, fries, salad, a small portion of lamb, & chicken thighs.

- The fries had a burnt taste.
- The ribs were juicy & tender but lacking in flavor.
- The lamb was good but a very small portion, about 2 bites.
- The salad was probably the best part of the meal.
- The chicken was dry inside, with flavor only in the skin.

The staff were respectful & helpful.

For $200, you could go to a fancy restaurant with 5/5 reviews instead.

**Notice:** We first experienced this restaurant a couple of years ago, & most recently on August 8, 2026. This is a shared review from 4 family members, & we ordered around 7 PM. This review isn't meant to hurt the restaurant, but to encourage improvements so future visits can be better for everyone.

Tried Grillado's Laval Halal Steak & BBQ recently & honestly the food was amazing. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, & packed with flavor. The sauces were really good too, especially with the fries & grilled platters. Staff was welcoming, service was quick, & the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere overall. Definitely one of the better halal grill spots in Laval & a place I'd come back to with friends & family.

I come to Montreal for eat special steaks & chicken ,Their chicken espetada is incredibly juicy, perfectly grilled, & full of flavor. The real highlight is their sauces - the BBQ sauce has a rich smoky taste, while the peri peri hot sauce adds the perfect spicy kick without overpowering the food. The meat quality feels fresh, portions are generous, & the overall presentation is excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, & the staff are friendly & welcoming. A great place for flavorful grilled chicken🤤

I came in today , spent nearly 100$ & was absolutely disappointed , the chicken had a burnt taste , rice was dry & tasted stale , fries are just regular fries, no peri peri salt , & worst of all
They were out of all there was no sauce ! All they had was a quarter of a bottle of garlic & herb & sauce weird tasting vinegar sauce instead of they hot sauce
Went from a 9/10 chicken spot to a 4/10
