Great atmosphere- it's really pretty but the overall experience is not great. I've been there a few times & staff don't welcome or acknowledge you at all when you come in, even when you're in front of them. The food & drinks are expensive but not very good. I've ordered a few dishes & they tasted like they were made from frozen. The cocktails were not much better especially the spicy margarita. The worst bit is the kitchen is directly opposite to the bathrooms which have no doors.

Grenade Restaurant Bar offers great food & a solid beer selection. I had the butter chicken poutine, & it was delicious-rich, flavorful, & perfectly indulgent. The service was a bit slow, but the quality of the food & drinks made up for it. Worth a visit if you're not in a rush.

The atmosphere is not nice as I remember it, way too much light & it's my own opinion but I did not enjoyed it. Still, drinks are very good & service was great!

Pas beaucoup de réponses détaillées en posant des questions sur le menu à la serveuse, mais elle semblait nouvelle. Aussi, une erreur puis un oubli en lien avec notre commande, mais le tout est corrigé rapidement. Mis à part cela, tout le personnel est très cordial, les cocktails & les plats sont délicieux!! Le gérant est même venu prendre nos commentaires après le repas comme le menu vient de changer. Nous avons adoré le boeuf à la sichuannaise, le tartare de saumon aux agrumes & le saumon croustillant à l'érable. On a aussi pris des cocktails. Le Riluo, le Hanami & le Lillet Spritz étaient goûteux sans être trop sucrés, mais notre drink favori était sans conteste le Tsurai Caesar, un Bloody Caesar avec une twist vraiment surprenante. Mon amoureux & moi avions envie de le boire d'un seul trait!! On s'est assis à la "terrasse couverte" pour profiter des derniers rayons de soleil & les lampes chauffantes nous ont bien gardés au chaud. Un lieu à découvrir. Je recommande fortement & j'espère y retourner bientôt!

We recently hosted our wedding reception for 40 people at Grenade Bar, & we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. The atmosphere at Grenade Bar is simply outstanding. The cozy ambiance made our guests feel right at home. Whether they were mingling at the bar or dancing on the dance floor, everyone felt comfortable & relaxed throughout the night. We were well aware of how amazing the food served at Grenade Bar is, but it exceeded our guests' expectations in every way. From the appetizers to the main courses, every dish was expertly prepared & beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the delicious cuisine! The music selection was another highlight of the evening. It added an extra layer of fun & excitement to the festivities. However, what truly set Grenade Bar apart was the impeccable service we received throughout the planning process & on the day of our event. In particular, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the bar manager, Ludo. His professionalism, attention to detail, & genuine kindness made all the difference. From coordinating with us & catering to our special requests prior to the event to ensuring that every guest had a drink in hand & food on their plate during the reception, Ludo went above & beyond to make sure that our wedding party was flawless from start to finish. All in all, we cannot recommend Grenade Bar highly enough for anyone looking for the perfect venue for their special day. With its excellent atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic music, & top-notch service, Grenade Bar delivered our in every way. Thank you to Ludo & the entire team for helping to make our wedding reception an unforgettable experience.

Quand j'y suis allé les machines étaient setter à 18% de tips après taxes, j'en ai parlé à mon ami pendant que le serveur passait à côté & il m'a dit : ça serait dommage que tu nous donnes trop d'argent, bref une personne vraiment agréable. L'ambiance, les drinks & le reste du staff était A1.

La nourriture & les drink étaient fabuleux!
L'ambiance était bien mais on n'a pas pu rester sur la terrasse parce qu'il y avait une réservation pour 50 personnes. Mais la terrasse est restée vide.
Je me suis fait charger 4 drinks de plus. Je ne me suis pas obstinée, ça devenait lourd.
Enfin, j'avais réservé, mentionner ma fête, nommé dans la soirée & aucun goodies promis n'a été reçu.
J'imagine que sans travaux, c'est un bel endroit festif. Cela dit, je suis restée sur ma... soif!

We went there for a girls' night on Saturday but we have mixed feelings about our experience.
The bar is nice with a cool decoration & the music is not loud.
The staff was very welcoming, friendly & they came multiple times to check on us. Our waitress did a great job.
On the other hand, the food & drinks were disappointing. We had 4 cocktails, the bao & the ramens. The cocktails were ok (3/5) but we wouldn't come back for them. My friend said the bao was ok but the Ramen was bad (1/5). I lost 25$.
Finally, I don't think we will come back because the food & cocktails were average & pricey but this is just our taste.

J'y allais pour les drinks mais il y avait plus de glaçons que de liquide. C'est cher pour de l'eau.
Les dumplings étaient excellents & la pizza sushi au thon est ok mais faite avec du thon en canne.

lil gem of a terrace, very nice ambiance. Food is a bit overpriced, in my opinion, for the portion size. Drinks are good. Bottom line: good place to have drinks in summer.

Didn't have most things on the menu, & were closing the kitchen early because of that! Good for drinks, maybe skip the meals.

We actually were a group of 9 & they were very accommodating. Great service, excellent drinks. Was able to bring cake to celebrate two bdays. Highly recommend for chill vibes.

Great patio beside & out back, many customers having drinks, socializing in groups, very relaxed atmosphere, our server was very attentive & helpful.
A couple of items worth noting:
Grenade uses a virtual menu, which means scanning a barcode with smart phone & ordering food online, which we cold not get to work properly. We spoke with the staff, & the place didn't actually have a paper copy of the menu. Bizzare. I pulled up the menu from the resto website & ordered verbally, so not really sure what is being accomplished by having this policy. I have no idea how this would work if you dont use a smart phone or you were having a technology-free evening.
The menu is small, so i would definitely categorize Grenade as a bar that serves food, not a resto/bistro, etc. They have interesting asian-inspired twists on classic items such as saumon tartare & bimbap, however if I am craving these items I will go to a restaurant that specializes in them, not a bar serving a tapas-style version.
We would definitely return for the drinks, vibes & 'snacks', now knowing what to expect.
