GreekTown Grill consistently earns praise for its authentic and high-quality Mediterranean cuisine, with patrons frequently highlighting the fresh ingredients, flavorful meats, and standout dishes like the calamari, gyros, and tzatziki. The restaurant is widely recognized for its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, which many describe as a lively, family-run space reminiscent of dining in Greece. While the popularity of the establishment often leads to a bustling and crowded environment, the hardworking staff and generous portion sizes generally contribute to a positive and satisfying dining experience, making it a go-to destination for those seeking delicious, traditional Greek food in a casual setting.
The food was actually very good. Smaller portions than let's say casa greque but still good amounts. The tasting platter was delicious but I feel like sides should have been included for that price. The platter only contains the meats.
The only very negative point was that we were literally kicked out of the restaurant. The service was good but as soon as we took our last bite we were brought the bills. When we said we wanted to order dessert & coffee we were told another group was coming in 5 minutes. We had been there for exactly 1 hour. I've never been this rushed to leave. Also we received our appetizers, mains & drinks all at once.
Mr Karayannopoulos. I order from Greek Town Grill Laval about 3 times a week for lunch. I'm a regular customer, & normally the gyro pitas are HUGE & I've always been happy with the portions.
Tonight I ordered for my family & seriously-WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?
The gyro pita I received was literally about 1/3 of the normal size, yet I was charged FULL PRICE. Same restaurant, same product, full price, but a fraction of what you normally serve.
I order from you THREE TIMES A WEEK. I know exactly what your normal portions look like, so don't tell me this is the usual size. If you're going to suddenly cut portions by two-thirds, then cut the damn price too.
I don't mind paying for good food. I DO mind paying full price & getting a third of the product.
Greek Town Grill Laval - you guys seriously need to explain what happened tonight. This was absolutely unacceptable.
My sister was visiting & asked to go to the best Greek restaurant. I had to take her to my favourite place.
Thank you for the great service & delicious food again tonight.
Greek Town Grill was an absolutely outstanding experience from beginning to end. This was, without exaggeration, some of the best Greek food I have ever had. What stood out immediately was the quality & freshness of the ingredients & the care that clearly goes into preparing the food. Everything tasted genuinely homemade, beautifully seasoned & cooked with real attention to detail.
I had the opportunity to sample several dishes & there honestly wasn't a weak one among them. The tzatziki was exceptional-fresh, creamy & incredibly flavorful. The lamb chops were succulent, tender & perfectly seasoned. The chicken was beautifully cooked & full of flavor, & the Greek roasted potatoes were outstanding. Even the salad was remarkably fresh & delicious.
& then there was the pastitsio. Absolutely incredible. The combination of the pasta, seasoned meat & that beautiful layer of béchamel was rich, comforting & exceptionally well balanced. It was one of those dishes you continue thinking about afterward.
Beyond the food, I loved the atmosphere. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday evening, with people talking, laughing & enjoying themselves, good music playing in the background & a genuinely warm, welcoming feeling throughout the room. It has that wonderful family-run quality where you feel that the people preparing & serving the food actually care about what they're putting on your table.
Greek Town Grill may present itself as a casual neighborhood restaurant, but the quality of the food is anything but ordinary. Fresh ingredients, generous hospitality, authentic flavors & food prepared with obvious pride & care.
An easy 5 Stars from me. I will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.
Just got back from Greece & was craving a gyro pita , let me tell you that this pita was better than the ones had in Greece !!
