About us
Gon Bui is a new Chinese resto-bar inspired by the lost temples in China. Gon Bui means 'Cheers' in Cantonese. We create our own new-Asian tapas dishes, inspired from traditional with a playful twist.

Je suis allée célébrer mon anniversaire en soirée à ce restaurant avec mes amies pour la première fois. Il y a plusieurs choix d'entrées & nous avions aimé autant la nourriture que les boissons. J'ai aimé la variété de cocktails & mocktails disponibles. Le restaurant a une belle ambiance & je trouve que le décor est unique en son genre. J'ai eu l'opportunité d'écrire un souhait & d'accrocher celui-ci dans le fameux arbre à souhait situé au centre du restaurant! C'était une belle expérience.View more

food was not that good, the only thing that amazed us was the pistachio churros very good would recommend, other than that the food is not worth it, price point is good, location is good with alot of parking, service was not that good felt like we were bothering him any time we asked anything, but the atmosphere is nice its spacious as well with ambient lightingView more

We visited because this place is viral on TikTok & for a good reason! We ordered:
*The coco pandan cappuccino - which honestly tasted like a regular cappuccino but it was really good quality so it was worth it
* The cosmo-litchi smash - their take on a Cosmopolitan. It was amazing!
* The Bede Sud-Est: English muffin served with soya braised pork belly, poached egg hollandaise- chinese sauce & cress - This was perfectly portioned, the yolk was runny & the pork was very flavourful
* The Pain Panko Ubé: 2 french toasts coated with coconut-ube coulis, pacan, asian pear compote & fresh fruits - This was buttery & not overly sweet. The portion was large & I believe this is one of their most popular brunch dishes.
Jules was our server. He is incredibly warm, polite & charismatic. The DJ was playing great music that made the atmosphere feel light & dynamic. The music volume was adequate & allowed us to have a good conversation without having to yell.
This experience was 10/10 for us & now we want to come back for lunch/dinner next time we're in time.

Cool place ! Came here Friday evening, group of 6 ppl. As you enter the atmosphere is really cool & DJ playing music. This is like a tapas place, I recommend to share & try different dishes. The got a bit of everything, my favorite was the fried squid & the chicken curry. Drinks were good as well.View more

The food was surprisingly delicious & well-portioned. It's best to visit with a group so you can sample a variety of dishes. A must is the Chinatown Scallops & Beef Tataki
The drinks were amazing!
My favorite was the Espresso Martini topped with crème brûlée-just wow! Then there's the Pandan La Nuit drink, which has a subtle hint of sourness. Not too sweet, just perfectly balanced & refreshing. & if you want have some shots: Asian Blush & Hot Mess are good too.

First Timer
Decided to have a try after I saw the decor on Maps.
- Parking available
- We went without reservation & we were seated.
- Staffs were welcoming.
- Place is super cosy & clean.
As for food, we had the Fried Calamari which was very good & not so usual flavours but still very good. & this heighten our expectations for the main course.
The waiter suggested the Lobster noodles & the Chicken Curry so we went ahead with that. However, I was personally I bit disappointed after having such good Calamari. The meals weren't bad but they were OK. My curry (marked as spicy), was more sugary for example.
Presentation-wise they are good but I personally feels they lack depth/flavours in the meals we were served. Not so value for money...
In terms of price, they are above average making a total of 98$ for one starter, & two meals. (tips starting at 18%)
