About us
Gon Bui is a new Chinese resto-bar inspired by the lost temples in China. Gon Bui means 'Cheers' in Cantonese. We create our own new-Asian tapas dishes, inspired from traditional with a playful twist.

Je suis allée deux fois au Gun Bui & j'ai adoré mes expériences! Le menu est DÉLICIEUX & hors du commun! Nous avons pris les plats à partager & j'ai goûté aux plats suivant: soupe wonton, dumplings, nouilles au boeuf, nouilles Udon sauce Alfredo (mon coup de coeur 😍), le curry, les brocolis chinois dont la sauce est TELLEMENT BONNE! Tous les plats se démarquent vraiment & il y a plusieurs styles de nourriture asiatique fusionnés ensemble! Il y a un beau choix de cocktails intéressants & de vin! Mon seul commentaire moins positif: lors d'une de mes visites, j'y suis allée & c'était beaucoup trop bruyant avec la présence du DJ. Autrement, tout était parfait & nous avons reçu un très bon service de la part de Clark. Je recommande fortement le Gon Bui pour une expérience culinaire 😋😍View more

The food is so good! I wasn't expecting that food quality & savory. The food is mostly tapas, & they are of different size. Each one is very good. The savory was insane. Their sauce is so good. Even there ong tong soup is better than usuall. If you go, tou most try the Ha Gao de fortune (with shrimp), it was delicious. They have a lot of mocketail option. & some vegan options (but not a lot) The restaurant is smaller thant its look like. But it's so pretty! You must go there for your birthday, they will give you a card & send it back to you next year. It's a must go!View more

Food was quite good, but the portions are very small with a limited menu. The services was poor, could barely get our waitress to see us. The plates came out very sporadically, 6 plates in total took well over an hr & a half...every 15 min you got to take 1 bite.View more

While the food tasted really good, I found the portions to be on the smaller side vs. the price. Considering it's an "asian tapas" style, I can understand that. However some dishes, like the Hamburger, were more difficult to share. (Maybe creating sliders would have been a better option here?) The waiters were friendly & accommodated our group. The only reason I' m not giving it 5 stars is because of a few details such as the fact that we had no utensils at our table & had to ask for it after our dishes were served; water was not refilled throughout the meal.View more

It's very hard to find a restaurant that leaves me thinking "I can't wait to come back & eat this food again, & have these drinks again". Gon Bui has me thinking this each time I go! Absolutely perfect menu, with one dish more delicious than the last. The drinks are one of a kind, such unique twists on the classics we all love! & the staff, where to begin! Kindest, most helpful, knowledgeable & welcome group of people I have ever met! Liked it, great food & experience. Only thing is at the end after I paid, I checked my receipt & realized we were charged for a meal/item we didn't order. I had already left so it was not worth going back. I'm sure it was a mistake but it left a bad taste in my mouth after a great experience, make sure to always check your receipts before paying folks, lesson learned.View more

We were super excited to try this place. Honestly the service was good & the decor amazing - but we wish we could say the same about the food. It really did feel that the food was cheap & the quality was hit by the inflation. While the portion are fine, the quality or the ingredients were low in particular the meat (dumpling or noodles). Honestly we were super disappointed. I leave you judge with the pictures we're adding here can see those are the cheapest pieces of beef you can get.View more

Was there for Mother's day. The music was banging. I usually like my brunch sweet & salty so I ordered 2 plates to share with my sister. My half of chicken & waffles filled me up so I had difficulty finishing my French toast. Also had their version of the Amaretto sour which was like juice, loved it. Tried their brunch & it was amazing!! They had Filipino-inspired Ube French toast that I ordered which was *chefs kiss*. The service is so good, water always topped up, greeted with a smile & they're so friendly. La nourriture est excellente! Le Poulet Curry était la plus grande susprise pour nous. La sauce était très gouteuse. Les dumplings ne sont pas des dumplings traditionnels, mais valent vraiment la peine d'être essayés. Ils étaient, eux aussi, délicieux.
