I am pleased that Gino's serves vegan lasagna.
Sugo Leggero (vegan): has cherry tomatoes, basilic, garlic, onions, olives. A vegan béchamel made with pistachio & rice milk. Topped with roasted pistachios. Their homemade pasta is made with semolina flour.
I was pleasantly surprised by the lasagna. Thankfully, it's not doused with rich & creamy sauce. The béchamel is light & easy to eat & the tangy tomato sauce lightens the dish as well.
& I ordered a dessert because there's a vegan dessert on the menu!
Semifreddo Al Torroncino (vegan): vegan chocolate sauce, homemade almond Torroncino.
The chocolate sauce is made of bitter chocolate. While semifreddo is sweet. There were bits of almonds. The dessert was creamy & crunchy.
I love lasagna but don't necessarily make it at home.View more

Amazing dicovery for me & my friends. The menu is simple yet you get a lot of choices for appetizers, drinks & desserts. Everything is well thought & the atmosphere is so relaxing & smooth. We loved the atmosphere so much that sometimes when we are close to Gino's, we go there just for desserts & coffee.
We went there as a group of 10-12 & the service & the food were impeccable.
I recommend everyone to go there at least once. Thank me later.

Nous avons mangé pour la première fois chez Gino's en mai 2024 ce qui était pour moi les meilleures lasagnes de mon existence. Toutefois, notre dernier souper (avril 2025) fut moins exaltant puisque la qualité des lasagnes était bien différente. Ce qui en faisait leur caractère exceptionnel n'est plus. Amazing dinner at Gino's!!! The cocktails were great, lasagna simply out of this world (both the vegetarian & the meat option). Unfortunately the end of our meal was a tad disappointing as the tiramisu was more of a tiramisoup. Thankfully our waiter kindly removed it from our bill, easing our disappointment. I had such a great time at Gino's! The atmosphere was super cozy & relaxing, which made the whole experience better. Their signature was honestly the best I've ever had-so flavourful & cheesy! To top it off, we were given some amazing desserts, & they were all so tasty. Everything was spot on. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Gino should have left the lasagna to nonna. Salad was the best thing there. Imagine an Italian saying that. Interior is nice which is probably why you're paying $90+ for 3 dishes & a drink. Sugo was good though.View more
Great little spot with attentive service & a great vibe! Cocktails are all delicious as were the appetizers-definitely recommend the fried mozzarella. Tried both the Gino & Alla norma lasagne & they were both spectacular. Wine list is small but packs a punch. Overall great dinner experience, reasonably priced, highly recommend it!View more
Très belle soirée au Gino's! Ce que j'ai le plus aimé c'est le service, les serveurs étaient attentionnés & fins ; c'était lundi soir par ailleurs. Nous avons pris des negroni, l'entrée de burrata (un peu chewy à mon goût) & la lasagne de viande qui était à tomber cela dit. I came into Gino's for my birthday & let me just tell you, I was definitely not disappointed. The atmosphere, service & food was all incredible. The lasagna was extremely fresh & the perfect size. The prices are more than fair & everything was just so incredible. They have vegetarian & vegan options as well which is amazing! The lasagna melted like butter in my mouth & was just so flavourful & unreal. Their homemade Tiramisu is also incredibly moist & flavourful. This truly is a must visit in Montreal! Unfortunately our experience with Gino's Negroni & Lasagna was not good. We went yesterday night (reservation for 8 pm) for my daughter's birthday. We were a party of 3. To begin, all three cocktails we ordered were no good to the point where we were unable to finish them. Service was very slow & the reason they gave us was that there was a party of 20 & they had their hands full. I do not believe that's a valid reason! Very loud atmosphere. Not possible to have a conversation without raising your voice. We had high expectations. Overall VERY disappointing & we will not be going back. Best of luckView more

Could be a fun vibe but ours was squashed sitting in the noisy back of the restaurant at a cramped table for two (one of the seats facing the wall) where we could barely hear ourselves talk. Take the name of this place seriously: the only thing they offer as a main course is lasagna (although 4 different types); not an alternative or even a special in sight. We both had the Gino's lasagna. The pasta was very fresh & a good sized portion but didn't wow me. We split an appetizer of tuna tartare which was very small. Simple menue & delicious food? Hell yeah! I have been four times to Gino's so far & they never disappoint. I love the simplicity of the menu (that's how you know they're really good at what they do) & the freshness of everything that is served. We ordered Gino's Lasagna, which had a generous amount of meat & cheese, but it wasn't very impressive in terms of taste. The tuna tartare combined with apple mousse was extremely sweet & had an odd taste, & the fish didn't taste fresh, unfortunately. Additionally, the focaccia was extremely salty. Super great experience at Gino's. My wife & I both got the vegetarian lasagna & some fun drinks. Drinks were awesome & lasagna was delicious. My wife wasn't the biggest fan of lasagna before Gino's but this experience changed her mind! Nous avons pris la lasagne Gino's, certes bonne mais pas renversante non plus. Service très long, nous avons facilement attendu plus d'une heure pour avoir nos lasagnes (nous étions 3). My friend & I gave this new restaurant a try & it was overall really good. The star of the show was of course Gino's lasagna. It was absolutely delicious & melts in the mouth. The drinks were also good but personally I did not enjoy some of the appetizers. We had the tuna tartare as well as the salmon carpaccio & they were average. 10/10 recommend Gino's. The service was fast & efficient, & the atmosphere is perfect for an intimate dinner. My partner & I each tried the classic « Gino's » lasagna, & it was delicious & fresh. The size was a bit on the smaller side so I recommend getting an appetizer with it, or just another piece to share. I also had the Latina drink, which was very tasty & well made!
