Cet endroit est super jolie, cependant, le service était vraiment pas bon. Nous avons attendu 15 minutes avant que finalement mon amie réussisse à faire venir la serveuse pour prendre notre commande. Lorsque nous avions terminer, un autre 15 minutes pour avoir nos factures. Aussi, la nourriture était décevante. J'ai pris les gaufres & les gaufres étaient super salé & comme s'ils avaient mis trop de bicarbonatede soude, alors que c'était un plat sucré. Vraiment décevant.View more

Je suis vraiment déçue du service que j'ai reçu. Nous sommes entrée mon amie & moi vers 12:15 & nous avons commander directement notre plat. Il a fallu attendre jusqu'à 13:15 pour recevoir nos plats de la cuisine & je devais partir à 13:20 donc même pas eu le temps de manger mon plat que je devais tout de suite quitter. La personne m'a fait payer mon plat directement pour qu'elle m'oblige à rester mais j'ai pas aimé le service du tout. Il n'est ni rapide ni efficace. Je dirais que c'est un endroit non recommandé.View more

Only redeeming factor was the natural lighting in the space. Thought it'd be a cute cafe but it was extraordinarily mid. We also received unequal treatment compared to the Francophones. I noticed that the Francophones got sat quickly WITH water & got served immediately. This other English speaking group was here before us & the francophone group & they didn't have water for the longest time. I got irritated & raised my hand to asked to be served & finally get water. Then the food came out fast but they almost served it to the wrong table It wasn't even that busy compared to other brunch places at peak times. My eggs were also wayyy too hard. Was pretty excited to come here but was let down by the quality. My friends & I came here for brunch. We got the bottomless mimosas for $30 per person. Was a bit disappointed because each refill we got was less strong than the one we got before. On our 3rd refill, the mimosas just tasted like orange juice. Definitely recommend getting the smoked salmon benedict over the meat lover benedict. As it was just felt like random meats all put together. Personally I would say this is a pretty average brunch spot, definitely think there are better ones.View more

Great breakfast/brunch spot! This was my first time trying a crepe & it was AMAZING! I had the Nutella, banana, & strawberry one. This place had probably the best potato's I have ever had, too. The iced chai latte was amazing, too. Renaud was our waiter & he was so friendly & had such a great vibe to him. Definitely recommend this place 100% for brunch & breakfast!!View more

The highlight of this place is no doubt the atmosphere. With it's high glass walls allowing in an abundance of daylight & the hanging decorative plants, the ambiance is quite well done here. Bright & peaceful vibe throughout the space. The menu is well-varied. I went for the chicken & waffles as this is a favored dish of mine & not too easy to find in Montreal. As the name suggests, this dish has two components - chicken & waffles. Now the waffle was amazing. It was large, fluffy & tasty. The chicken was good too, but I was disappointed that it was a cutlet. This dish is traditionally served with a piece of fried chicken, not a cutlet. This deviation greatly affected the outcome of the dish, the combination of the crunch of the fried chicken skin with the waffle is key & that was totally missing. At the price point I was surprised they took this shortcut. This is a more niche item on their menu however. As for the service, it was average. I probably would have been better off with another dish but overall still had a good impression of Gingko.View more
