Fries not fried long enough & barely any sauce. Large poutine is smaller than most places.View more
Orange Julep is an Iconic restaurant in Montreal. The juice is really good & not overly sweet.
Their food is good for my liking & have a lot of selections to choose from.
A few things I noticed was that service can be slow since they are rushing to cater to customers since it can be very busy at a certain time.
Also, the price. It can be quite EXPENSIVE to eat there but they accept Credit & debit cards & Cash so make sure you are ready to pay the price.
The food though is fresh & better than Any fast food.
The staff & employees are working hard to cater to all & they are doing an amazing job.
The workers are good & doing the average.
Overall an amazing restaurant for fast food & a Highly recommendation for a decent lunch or Dinner.
Also they have car shows there as well sometimes & a nice area & location near the highway & Namur station.
But I hate the fact that they have wasps everywhere you eat especially outside & the summer. They should find a way to fix that because it’s sad.
Also some tables here are broken & not the best.
As of September, 2023 I will never eat here again in terms of seating. I just only get the juice & the food & eat somewhere else but never here around the orange. Too much Birds & Wasps.View more
Well, I'll try not to make it too long
Basically, I didn't like the drink, but I liked the poutine. Basically, this is the #1 poutine on my list.
Now, let's get to the explanation
The Orange Juice.
Well, if you're from US/Canada, it'll be tasty for you, but for me foreign, well, it was strange
Firstly, it HAS the taste of freshly squeezed orange juice, like just from the tree, which is great
But then, secondly, the sweetness. I don't know, it's just too sweet, like "double it & give it to the next person".
In my opinion, orange juice is a little bit sweet, but sour in the first place.
Maybe it's due to that European oranges are more sour? Well, I may be just different sort of oranges, that I don't like
Conclusion: "On taste & color - hard to find a mate"
poutine is just great, nothing is wrong with itView more
The combination of sweet orange juice & milk is unique but definitely not for everyone lol. Beside that, the hot dog & cheeseburger are juicy & worth a try!View more
This is definitely a classic Montreal staple. I will admit the quality of food/increase of price has changed over the years. I am also bummed by the fact that half of the parking lot is now a seating area, which used to be a hangout spot for vintage cars/motorcycles, etc.. The experience of visiting the giant orange is a must, but I do know there are better options for hotdogs & poutines in Montreal. To be noted, the staff was friendly!View more
P.s mon fils Mathias c fait piqueView more
An Orange Julep is definitely an experience, nothing quite like it in taste, though it’s not for everyone, you either love it or you hate it.. the food is good though, good steamy, good poutineView more
They promise fresh orange juice & they deliver.
If you’re lactose intolerant you might wanna confirm the additives before ordering the orange juice. Also they serve competitive poutine.View more
notre commande a l auto...
