Stopped in while visiting Montreal, this is a dine out only, no indoor seating, food was great, juice tasted like an orange cream popsicle, it was very good, it was very busy when we went but was worth the wait

Gibeau Orange Julep is an absolute Montreal classic! The Orange Julep was delicious, refreshing, & had that unique flavor you just don't get anywhere else. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, & the whole experience had that old-school charm that makes this place special. Definitely a must-stop if you're in Montreal. I'll absolutely be coming back!

Heard about this spot as being iconic to Montreal & having great poutine so we decided to give it a try for our trip here! We ordered combo 4 (i think) which included: the orange drink, Hot Dog, poutine & then we also got a cheeseburger. I really enjoyed the drink I would describe it as a orange version of a Brazilian creamy lemonade. The burger & Hot Dog were fine (will note the cabbage/onion mixture that they put on the all dressed Hot Dog was a rlly yummy addition, even added some into the poutine 😋) but I do think the poutine was pretty above average. Good amount of gravy & squeaky cheese curds what more can you ask for. One thing I will mention is that the service felt a bit…hostile? Not many words were exchanged but we didn't feel very welcome, but I get it this is not some fancy restaurant it's just a quick service place. All in all I'd definitely come back for some poutine & a drink!

Big giant orange - hard to miss in Montreal. Opens late & it's one way to drive around the orange which was not that obvious with so much people. Parking can be a bit annoying to drive it. Can get very crowded at any time. Drink is an interesting fresh orange juice mix with cream so it tastes like a light creamsicle. Kind of sweet but good aftertaste overall. Outdoor has a good amount of seating.
