An iconic Montreal landmark that has been around forever! Since it's almost winter, they now have a small addition in the front so you don't have to stand in the cold to order & eat your food. During the warmer months, there isn't the addition so you can just walk up to the windows to place your order. They serve hot dogs, soda & I believe fries. I go just to get a jug of their famous orange juice! Plenty of free parking.View more

On ne peut pas manger sur place. Jus d'orange qui n'en est pas : ajout de crème ou lait, sucre, vanille ... Trop de sauce sur la Poutine, dommage les frites avaient dû être croustillantes à l'origine. Seul le hot dog ne nous a pas déçu.View more

The food is good (I got the hotdog & poutine combo) & the beverage is not exactly to my taste, but you can definitely feel the orange flavor! As a side note, it is not possible to dine-in! (But you can eat in your car since there's a big parking lot 🚗)View more

There are times when the cost of a product exceeds its value. The menu at the orange julep has reached this point.
Yes, it has appeal as a landmark, & for many a nostalgic place to go for a dog & a julep... But I would really love to see how many people have stopped going or are ordering less because the prices have exceeded the value of what they are ordering.
Every business owner has the right to make a profit. The question is, is the operational cost so high that the clients have come to feel gouged?View more

A big orange ball! The actual drink was alright, but not incredible. The parking lot is arranged so that people can park their cars & look at the ball. I went on a Friday night at about 8 or so, & there were a number of cars revving their engines & zooming around which was a bit annoying. The back of the ball has washrooms which are available to use.View more
