I dont review normally restaurants. But this was simply a unique experience. All food was great & attention from the waiter was top level. Amazing experience, totally worth it.
Ma note de 3 étoiles est surtout pour le beau : welcome to Gia & le menu lunch…même si j'ai appuyé sur la langue française sur le site internet belle façon de manquer de respect envers les québécois français. Je n'y retournerai probablement jamais à cause de ça. J'attends des nouvelles de l'office sur la protection de langue française pour savoir si cela est légal.

Really good overall, the place has a relaxed atmosphere. The service is attentive & friendly. The food was good overall, especially if you're a fan of grilled meats. Not many lighter or vegetarian-focused options, Overall a good spot.
Had an amazing experience at Gia Vin & Grill. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, & the restaurant is in a nice quiet area which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. Everything we ordered was great, but the tiramisu is a must have; the best I've had in Montreal so far. Highly recommend!

Les plats sont bon mais minuscule. Les brochettes d'agneaux sont ridiculement mince…
La serveuse insiste pour nous offrir un menu de groupe à 95$/personne mais tu sais pas trop ce qui sera servis. Nous étions 6 personnes & elle a commandé un item de chaque plat. Mais quand tu les additionnes ça ne fait clairement pas 600$. Pourquoi ne pas juste chargé tous les plats que vous servez & splitter la facture en 6 ?
Alors, un peu sketch le menu de groupe & ca nous incite à consommer davantage. Comme les bouteilles de vins, je demande 3 choix à 70-80 & elle amène 3 choix en haut du prix en disant qu'ils ne sont plus disponible évidemment. & le prix de bouteilles de vin est exorbitants pour les vins servis… bref, je n'ai pas détesté mais je ne reviendrai pas, j'ai senti qu'il veulent des $$$
Coup de coeur pour ce restaurant! Tout ce que nous avons mangé étais excellent! Je recommande fortement les arrosticini (agneau) & la focaccia. Nous allons y retourner.
Food was good, though nothing remarkable or out of this world. The service however was excellent. the staff went above & beyond in ways that left us feeling warm & content as we left.

Gia is a gem. Incredible, refined-but-not-pretentious Italian food. I've been maybe too many times & have never been disappointed with a dish. It's hard to comment on dishes that are always changing, so just know that everything is amazing: the freshest sea food, perfect pastas, amazing mains. The maitake arroaticini are to die for, had beautifully grilled rabbit last night. The sommelière is a genius--don't bother looking at the wine list, just order your food & ask for options, you will not be disappointed. The chocolate blood tart is amazing, the tiramisu almost made me cry.
La nourriture est fantastique. Nous avons commandé le menu de groupe qui nous a permis de goûter à plusieurs spécialités. Notre coup de coeur a été la pièce de boeuf qui était cuite à la perfection.
Les pommes de terre croustillantes & la salade de betteraves sont aussi dans nos favoris.
& cerise sur le gâteau, le gâteau au chocolat & la panettone perdue.
Nous reviendrons !
