Was so happy to find out they were reopening on Somerled! Great service! The owners are so kind. Food is amazing!...brussels sprouts are definitely to try. Highly recommended!

We had a $60 meal including beef & Chinese cabbage & sweet & sour chicken. Both plates were poorly prepared. The chicken dish didn't actually have any chicken in it. Only dough, we opened every piece & there was no meat inside. For a $25 plate this was shocking. We have ordered from this restaurant previously & it was ok.

A very decent Szechuan/Chinese take-out place. One of the best outside Montreal's chinatown. The menu is not too big but most of the dishes are real Szechuan style. It's a good education for Canadians who don't really know about REAL Chinese food.

I was so sad to see Gia Ba go on Monkland & was SO happy to hear they reopened on Somerled. Such great dishes - some of my favourites are: Gong Bao Brussels Sprouts, Szechuan Cabbage, Green Beans, Eggplant, Salt & Pepper Squid, Beef & Broccoli, Cumin Chicken - list goes on! Definitely worth a try for takeout one night!

We were so sad when Giaba closed on Monkland, & have been missing it since. We survived the pandemic thanks to them (& a few others). So happy that they reopened (take-out & delivery only). Same excellent & amazing menu. To our knowledge, there's no equivalent Szechuan food in Montreal.

An excellent dining experience every time. Cosy neighborhood gem, but also worth driving across the city for. Take-Out/Delivery during the Covid-19 shut down has been perfect every time, highly recommend. Can't wait to come back when the shutdown is over. ❤?
