Review Summary

Garage Beirut receives broad praise for authentic Lebanese cuisine, with fresh, flavor-packed mezze and well executed grilled dishes like shish taouk, kebabs and kafta, along with crowd favorites such as hummus, baba ghannouj, labneh, muhammara and fattoush that many reviewers rate as standout or keeping a homey Beirut vibe. The atmosphere is described as cozy, intimate and welcoming, often compared to dining at a friend's house, and the service is usually friendly, attentive and efficient, though a few mentions of slow moments or crowded conditions exist. Reservations are commonly recommended because the space is small and usually busy, and some comments note that the restaurant can be pricey for portion sizes or that certain tasting plates feel expensive; a booking fee and occasional sound issues in a tight room are also cited by a minority. Overall Garage Beirut is regarded as one of the best Lebanese spots in the city, delivering authentic flavors, high quality ingredients and a memorable dining experience that keeps diners coming back.

Had this one on Google map list for a while, & …

Oo-La-La! It does not disappoint! What did I have? The Shish Taouk Chili, bien suhr! & that was only after the savory sambousik lahmeh. A hard choice over the moussaka, but one must have a reason to return. Joining this repast was a small glass of Arak to help complement the flavors. & a small cardamom coffee to close before heading into a winters afternoon. Fantastique! Will be back, as there's more to explore.

Lovely Lebanese restaurant! Everything was delicious, we got the dip taster cold & hot mezze, then the mixed grilled meat. Def recommend (but it's quite small so make a rez!)

The place is very great & cultural. As someone from Lebanon, I felt very included. The food was great & very quick. There were multiple options to choose from & the ones we got were all delicious. The service was very fast. The place itself is a little small but cozy & very enjoyable. The owner is very nice & knows how to take care of his customers! I would most definitely go again!

I went last night for a supper with lebanese friends that know the taste of the original lebanese food & really like this place & I honestly have to say the food is amazing, the service kind & fast & the place cozy, not very big, enough for small groups of people. We ordered Hummus, Baba ghannouj, SHISH TAOUK (omg so juicy & tender, my favorite), TABBOULEH, Vine leaves, Pita, Potatoes, SAMBOUSIK LAHMEH, RIKAKAT JEBNEH, KIBBEH NAYYEH, KENAFEH, all to share. The price in the average, 40$ each ish. My husband is an introvert person & for the first time i saw the happiness on his face for a food ahaha I'll come back for sure to try other specialities

The place is very special & cozy! Portions are in the smaller end for the price, but the food is incredibly flavourful!
