The portions are very good compared to other lebanese restaurants, & the food was just perfect. If you want a good lebanese dinner, this is the best one for sure in dowtown/montréal, it's a bit pricy but it's worth it.
Nice food & good service, the inly thing they can improve is the distance between the tables.
I went with my wife on Vday...we both loved the food so much! Everything we had was delicious! Will be back!
Very moderately priced, quality authentic Lebanese food. Wine list is very well priced. Arak is available as well. No $25 cocktails.
That day I felt like eating Shish Taouk so I thought of Garage Beirut; & I was well served. I enjoyed the Fatoush but not the Fatayer Sbenegh as much. That's why I didn't give the food 5 stars. The service was very good. The place can use some renovation, hence the 4 stars for the atmosphere. All in all, a good experience.
Only downside I can think of is how crammed tables are/I wish the space was bigger to accommodate more people... otherwise the food & service are excellent!
Food was absolutely delicious. The place is kind of small & so make sure to reserve because we had to wait almost 30min before a table was free.
Great little spot for authentic middle-eastern food. The charcoal grilled chicken is delicious!
Every single dish was full of complex flavors. The bread & each of the 4 different spreads were fresh. The Lebanese coffee was an outstanding finish to the meal!
we ordered the dip taster, pastry plate, moussaka, grilled halloumi, kebab khash khash, fatteh hummus, & garlic potatoes. all were yummy but our favorites were the garlic potatoes (hard 2 to go wrong), moussaka (the eggplant was very flavorful despite appearances), muhammara red pepper dip & the baba ghannouj. their hummus is lowkey whatever & halloumi is not worth it. the kebab was adequately juicy but not spicy as advertised. pita is whatever. altogether yummy but nothing spectacular cost wise, $30+ after tip & tax split between 5 people with a little bit food leftover. online reservation required input of credit card information & there is a 15 minute grace period before your table gets forfeited to the next waiting customers. it's a small restaurant with max capacity of like 30ish people so it makes sense. you should probably make a reservation to eat here
Food tastes good but it's served in little quantities & the prices are too much.
There's an amazing heat pipe at the entrance you could use to warm up your hands.
