Used to be my favourite as a student (when they only had one location near guy Concordia with a long line all the time), felt great to return for the same amazing food. The rose tteokbokki was extremely good, cheesy, creamy, & the rice cake was cooked just right. The portion was smaller than I expected but the price justified it. I felt reasonably fed after finishing it by myself. Would return for more!View more

Went back to Ganadara with my best friend today for the tteokbokki, it was amazing! We got the regular tteokbokki, takoyaki, the tteokochi & the spicy chicken cupbap. Our food arrived so quickly & we were sooo amazed (once again) by the taste of the food. Definitely recommend the tteokbokki & the tteokochi. Absolutely delicious, the servers were very kind, amazing experience overall.View more

I came to Ganadara on Mackay for a weekend lunch with girlfriends. I ordered the Tteokbokki with Mandu & it was so delicious; sweet & spicy, & I really liked that they pan fried the fish cake instead of cooking it directly into the sauce because it gave a nice texture to the dish. My girlfriends had the Chicken Katsu Curry & the Soondubu Jigae with Bulgogi, which they really enjoyed. I've tried two other Ganadara locations before & I thought the food there was just so-so, but I'm glad I gave the Mackay location a try because the food here was great.View more

My friends & I have been to this ganadara location quite a few times during the semester, we were always pleased with the service provided & always left with a full stomach!! The food is to die for - the rosé tteokbokki comes with plenty of sauce, 3 mandu dumplings & 2 big sausages which is plenty for it's price - the pricing is very reasonable & the service is quick so it's a very convenient place to get food in between classes!View more
