I used to live right next to Ganadara back in downtown. & back then I had Ganadara almost every week, & there was always a line in front of the restaurant.
So when I saw dix30 opened a new Ganadara I was so excited! I ordered my go to from years ago, which was Curry Chicken Katsu. & I found that the sauce was as good as I remembered, but the fried chicken was way worse than before. The crispy skin & the chicken itself are all separated from each other, & the meat is not tender at all. Also I think if there was more sauce that would be better too.
So overall I'm happy that one of the restaurants I used to love opened in Dix30, but I definitely hope Ganadara can be back at the top of the game. It's already good given the price, but Ganadara should be excellent not just good.View more
