The pizza was so good-fresh out of the oven, it was absolutely worth burning my mouth on the first bite. The quality did dip noticeably just 10 minutes later, but that initial experience was incredible. The sauce on the Margherita was excellent: bright, thick, & flavorful. The cheese was perfectly melty, & everything was well seasoned.
Usually I obsess over the crust-this one was decent. It had a nice wood-fired flavor but wasn't as crisp or airy as some others I've had.
The place itself has funky, fun decor & a solid vibe. Overall, a good experience & definitely worth checking out.View more
J'ai commandé en ligne & c'étais très bon !! La pizza étais simple mais très bonne . J'ai adoré la sauce . Le prix est plutôt raisonnable & le gâteaux au chocolat est vraiment bon . La prochaine fois je vais aller sur place car l'endroit est magnifique.View more
First experience at Fugazzi & we enjoyed the hot, fresh Say Cheese pizza on the premises. Although the atmosphere is pretty basic & more cafeteria style, we didn't mind dining right out of the box & enjoying the pizza right out of the oven. It had plentiful cheese & the sauce was flavorful & bright. The crust is a traditional Neapolitan style, so it was soft & foldable. Service was very straightforward, not much small talk & not overly friendly, but not rude at the same time. Le seul truc bon dans mon repas, c'était le coca-cola. Des ingrédients de mauvaise qualité, pour des pizzas de mauvaise qualité. La pizza aux peppéronis n'était tout simplement pas bonne. Ordering from Fugazzi used to be a no-brainer when I craved tasty Neapolitan style pizza. However, in the last months, the quality has gone down, especially the tomato sauce & some toppings. They also removed toppings off some of their pies. Their Caesar salad used to be delicious but they changed most ingredients (type of lettuce, vinaigrette, replaced prosciutto by bacon bits) & it has become subpar. In the past I would have recommended Fugazzi to anyone inquiring about great pizza joints in Montreal but unfortunately I can't do so anymore.View more

It had been a while since I ordered so I decided to. Unfortunately the Caesar salad was kind of slimy. I'd say of the dozen of times I've tried my luck with it, half the time it's spoiled or slimy. Not pleasant. This time I was really surprised by the pizzas. The margherita had barely any toppings so really just tasted like charred dough with a whisper of sauce & cheese. I'd be surprised if there was more than a tablespoon of cheese on the pizza. Overall not very good I'm sorry to say. I do recall the Hochelaga location better than Mile End but not sure I'd try again at either.View more

Vous allez me dire : « ...pourquoi je l'essaierais y'a 20 autres pizzérias dans le Mile-End? » Indeed, MAIS voici ce dont cette pizzeria nous parle : - Je suis aller chercher une WU TANG KILLER BEES (Calabrese & Miel) en take out & je CONFIRME que leurs pizzas sont cuits dans un impressionnant four a bois, ce qui leurs procure une saveur & une texture unique - A la première bouchée c'est la sauce tomate qui surprend, vraiment délicieuse. Un gout franc de tomates fraîche, & ils sont généreux sur la sauce, ce qui me plait particulièrement. - Fromage frais en quantité suffisante - Ingrédient de qualité, bien disposé uniformément - & bien sûr... la pâte à pizza, cuite au four. Cela élève l'expérience ! 15$ taxes incluses pour une pizza (sur le menu midi) ça se mange a 2 adultes pas trop gourmand. Pour ces raisons, je recommande chaudement!View more
