I stopped by Franklin's Subs & Suds in Old Montreal one night, & it was a fantastic way to end the evening. The highlight of my visit was the poutine with smoked meat. The fries were perfectly crispy, the gravy was savory without being overwhelming, & the smoked meat brought a rich, satisfying flavor that tied it all together. It was comfort food at its finest. The atmosphere at night was cozy & inviting, with just the right amount of buzz to keep the energy up without feeling crowded. The beer selection was impressive, offering plenty of options to pair with the meal. I enjoyed the relaxed vibe, where you could sit back & savor your food while soaking in the historic surroundings of Old Montreal. Overall, Franklin's delivered a great experience. The combination of tasty food, a comfortable setting, & a prime location makes it a spot worth visiting, especially after dark when Old Montreal's charm is at its peak.
