They cut the size of the portions. The "2 person" main dishes were only enough for one. The menu photos show 2 full brochettes for the shish taouk. It came with only one. I agree with some other reviewers, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. t
Après avoir mangé au restaurant Damas quelques fois, on a décidé de commander pour souper à la maison. Nous avons été fort deçus. L'expérience culinaire n'était pas au rendez-vous, les portions & plats forts decevants, mais le prix fut élevé. Nous ne commanderons plus pour emporter.

Excellent food, quality ingredients, attention to detail & great execution. I had the crispy chicken burger which was quite original with the garnishes, perfectly seasoned, still crispy & warm & not messy despite having ordered delivery. I also had the zaatar fries, Aleppo chili sauce & a box of baklava. The portions are generous & I find that the quality definitely justifies the price. Good job guys, keep it up ! P.s. : after having had a wonderful dining experience at Damas Restaurant, I was eager to try Folfol, which did not disappoint.
We ordered twice the chicken shawarma saj & french fries, loved both times. Shawarma is big & the fries portion was huge. It was the most delicious shawarma I've tried, loved it.
Just dove into a Syrian culinary adventure with Folfol By Damas. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma Saj (aka marinated chicken all cozied up with pickles & garlic mayo - because who wouldn't want to find that in a wrap?) & the Lamb Shawarma Saj (marinated lamb leg doing the tango with Biwaz, pickles, Tahini sauce, & pomegranate molasses - a flavor party I wasn't ready for but absolutely needed). Washed it all down with a fine Shawbridge beer because, well, balance. 🍺 #CulinaryExpedition #BalancedDietMeansBeerRight?
Delighted to have discovered their authentic Syrian street food. Each dish boasts high-quality ingredients & genuine flavors. The delivery was prompt, & the packaging ensured everything arrived fresh. Can't wait to order again & explore more of their delicious menu!
I ordered a falafel plate, mouhamara, & extra bread. My delivery came to over $50. They forgot the tahini, did not include the extra bread, & the rest of the "plate" was a tiny watercress salad. A very expensive disappointment.

Food is good but RIDICULOUSLY small portion sizes for the price. The shawarma plate only had 3 slices of potatoes & we received only 2 small pita bread... This meal was not worth the 160$ we paid for. The fresh foods (beet mutabbal dip & fried cheese borek) were very good. The foods to reheat (chicken shawarma & kibbeh) were no longer freshly made as before but stored sous-vide, & were dry & lacking flavour. We had amazing takeout from Damas before (prior to Folfol) & we are very disappointed.
Just went & bought 2 saj chicken shawarma, 1 cheese borek, hummous & a drink. I have to say that the taste was just ok for the sandwich: too many spices & it's overpowering compared to other chicken shawarma sandwiches i've had elsewhere. Would i go back no.
Amazing every time! Ignore the hater - I don't understand all these reviews from people who seem to have walked into a Maserati dealership expecting to pay Honda Civic prices. Look at the menu: it's high-end, fresh & delicious food. If you want cheap & soggy, go to Amir.

Portion pour deux nettement insuffisante pour le prix (44$+txes) : 1 Jarret d'agneau pour deux, sauce trop salé... Riz dégueulasse ; riz minute trop cuit & hyper salé.... déception totale. Notre première expérience avait été très agréable, mais je ne répéterai pas. Qualité ⬇️ Prix ⬆️
Felt in a festive mood so I ordered a bunch of plates. Some of the best Syrian spreads I've had my entire life! So good job. My only comment is the fried shrimps were so dry & so harsh, they were uneatable, it might be because it was a delivery & this plate isn't meant to wait too long, so might be a dish best-served at the restaurant only? Otherwise, definitely will try again!
Absolutely thrilled that I disregarded the negative reviews & took the plunge with FolFol for my inaugural order which I don't regret at all! Opted for the lamb & chicken shawarma saj, & hands down, this is by faaaaar the finest shawarma I've had here in Montreal at least for the last decade! The hummus & mutabbal are out of this world! & the Yalanji was a delectable delight. The mixed baklava was a symphony of flavors with each bite. Yummy 😋 Of course, this isn't your run-of-the-mill Shami restaurant dishing out hefty, flavorless servings to stuff your stomach with spice. No, it's a culinary haven that leaves your stomach content, not overstuffed, & beckons all your taste buds to revel in their full glory. A++ recommendation for fellow food enthusiasts. Cheers!
Commande en livraison, pris pas mal de choses de la carte pour avoir une bonne vision d'ensemble. Franchement belle expérience, tout était très bon & en quantité largement suffisante. Oui c'est dispendieux (comme absolument tout maintenant côté alimentaire...) mais au moins ici il y avait aussi bien la qualité que la quantité alors pas de quoi se plaindre.
