Of the four places I went for steak on my visit to the Montreal area, Firegrill rated #4. Good steak, just not as good as the rest.

I haven't been to firegrill my brother in-law came from Ontario , so we decided to try it, the one on Cote vertu in ville St Laurent , was surprised it was a Friday night & not many people there , I guess people are cutting back. We were greeted from a nice person & seated , them out waitress Lina was totally awesome person with a contagious laugh, we ordered cocktails 1st that were delicious 😋 my brother inlaw ordered the roast beef with a loaded potato, he said it was delicious, I ordered the Cesear salad with grilled chicken topped with crispy onions instead of croutons nice change enjoyed it a lot , my hubby ordered the Manhattan steak with pepper sauce he said it was perfect!! & to top it off it was my hubbies b'day so the our waitress Lina bought a nice helping of yummy ice cream mix with 3 spoons too enjoy & singing happy birthday with a sparkler !! She is such a great people person ❤? I will post the picks of our meals & drinks too ! As well as the birthday boys happy look with his surprise too!!!! Thanks again Lina for your great service 😉 tried to add pics of our meals I was unable too !

Firegrill St-Laurent: A Mixed Experience - 3.9/5 At first glance, Firegrill St-Laurent makes a fantastic impression. The restaurant is stunning, with a beautifully designed space that exudes warmth & sophistication. The staff is equally impressive-welcoming, attentive, & genuinely fun to interact with. They made us laugh & were incredibly helpful throughout the evening. The presentation of the food was equally appealing, & it's clear that attention to detail is a priority. However, the experience faltered when it came to execution. I ordered the Filet Mignon blue, but it arrived more cooked than I had requested, missing the mark on this delicate preparation. I also opted for a lobster tail, but unfortunately, it was served undercooked. When I sent it back, I was disappointed that the same tail was simply refired rather than replaced-a surprising choice, given the $26 price tag. To add to the frustration, it came back overcooked. That said, I don't suspect these issues are a regular occurrence. It's possible that their top chefs weren't in the kitchen on December 26th-a busy time of year where inconsistencies can sometimes happen. Everything else we ordered was well-prepared & enjoyable, & the ambiance made the evening pleasant. With some improvements in food preparation, Firegrill has the potential to be exceptional. For now, it's a good spot with some room to grow.

Both Firegrills on Montreal are excellent, but this is our favorite as the manager is very picky about the quality of beef he brings in.

Firegrill was an amazing experiance. Friendly staff, wonderful food. A very upclass atmosphere, but none judgmental.

I had the firegrill hamburger, it was amazing i was pleasently surprised how good the meat tasted on the grill, juicy & crunchy. Great choice. I recommend it to anybody wanting a perfect hamburger.

Haven’t been at the Firegrill in a long time Place haven’t change but dated Food was good & service was prompt & courteous Good place for a business lunch

My husband & I have been to this FireGrill several times. The quality of beef is outstanding, & the service is very good & polite, although they don't go that extra mile. At our last visit, we had a cozy spot by the gas fireplace. I just wish that the rib steaks came in a smaller portion, like 12 or 10 oz. My husband prefers the FireGrill over le Biftheque. He finds the beef better-seasoned at the FireGrill. I find the sauce/juice for the prime rib a touch too salty, but otherwise in general, we are usually happy with the food & service. Would we go back there again? We have been, several times!
