I live in the area since 2018, always wondering about this restaurant, last night I went with my wife.
The pros: the bread was good & fresh, always fresh water & they are not shy on Parmesan cheese & pepper. The menu has many options & they offer a good variety of wines. My meal had a lot of sauce.
The cons:
The greeting area is not organized.
I ordered canelonni & my wife ordered a vegetarian pizza.
My order was just OK, I expected some side salad, but the'pasta is just pasta' as the server said, the pizza was really dispointing. It had 4 tomato slices just put on top of the dough, italian tomatoes: the cheapest variety in the market. It barelly had any sauce, it was tasteless. We expected some cherry tomatoes or any other premium variety for the price. The sparragus (long stems) were also just put on top, the pizza was falling appart & very dry.
She wanted to add some chicken, but just that would be $11 more. How much chicken could be in a personal pizza? This is the price for a full grilled chiken.
For the prices I also expected table cloths & more space between tables, the menus could be better presented in proper sleeves & use cloth napkins.
The decoration is not updated, but you could call it vintage.
There is a lot to improve

Difficile de faire mieux. De loin notre restaurant italien préféré des environs. On a l'impression de manger de la nourriture maison. De plus ils font de la pizza avec un four à bois.

Mon copain & moi avons demandé à partager une pizza & une salade César. Sans même avoir eu besoin de le demander, l'équipe en cuisine nous a apporté deux assiettes avec le tout déjà séparé! C'était une très belle attention. La nourriture était excellente.

Ouin. Bof! Nous sommes allés pour l'anniversaire de mon mari. Cela fait 1 an qu'il me parle de ce restaurant, comme quoi c'est toujours bondé de gens, que ça a l'air super! Avant de s'y rendre, nous regardons les avis. 4,3/5 *, on se dit que ça va le faire. Ouf ouf ouf... Nous avons apprécié notre entrée, calmars frits, avec la sauce style marinara, ça commence bien. En repas principal, mon mari commande l'escalope de veaux. L'accompagnement est un spaghetti sauce bolognese. L'escalope semble congelée, les pâtes sont trop cuites, la sauce est vraiment ordinaire... Je commande une pizza margarita. Je n'ai pas compris pourquoi il y a des tranches de grosses tomates sur le dessus? Honnêtement, c'était une des pires que j'ai goûté. Je suis dans un restaurant italien & je me sens chez Tim Horton's. En dessert, mon mari prend le tiramisu. Il l'a apprécié. Il ne se roulait pas par terre après le repas, mais c'était bien. Je prends le gâteau fondant au chocolat. On me sert une part de gâteau congelée, aucunement moelleuse, le genre de morceaux où l'on pique sa fourchette & on peut manger tout le tour. IGA fait de bien meilleurs dessert pour une fraction du prix, sachez-le. L'eau pétillante servie n'était plus très gazéifiée. Calvaire! Bref, 30 minutes de route pour beaucoup de déceptions. Mon mari m'a mentionné que c'était le pire souper de fête de sa vie. Nous sommes très déçus.
