Review Summary

Farsa receives praise for pasta with Vongole and for pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven, with many reviewers describing a home-cooked vibe and a solid wine and beer selection, though some feel the decor could use a refresh and a carpet with not ideal appearance distracted from the experience. Service is repeatedly called attentive and friendly, making guests feel like family, yet there are notes of slow service, staff unfamiliar with the menu, and occasional shortages that hamper some meals. Dishes such as Caesar salad, lasagne, salmon, linguine carbonara and parmesan fondue get strong marks, and a pistachio chicken is singled out as excellent; portions are described as generous. There are some negative moments, including an issue with hair in soup and insufficient follow-up from the owner, which left certain patrons dissatisfied. Overall, opinions range from outstanding food and welcoming vibes to inconsistencies in service and upkeep, but many would return for the food and the overall experience.

I live in the area since 2018, always wondering about this restaurant, last night I went with my wife.
The pros: the bread was good & fresh, always fresh water & they are not shy on Parmesan cheese & pepper. The menu has many options & they offer a good variety of wines. My meal had a lot of sauce.
The cons:
The greeting area is not organized.
I ordered canelonni & my wife ordered a vegetarian pizza.
My order was just OK, I expected some side salad, but the'pasta is just pasta' as the server said, the pizza was really dispointing. It had 4 tomato slices just put on top of the dough, italian tomatoes: the cheapest variety in the market. It barelly had any sauce, it was tasteless. We expected some cherry tomatoes or any other premium variety for the price. The sparragus (long stems) were also just put on top, the pizza was falling appart & very dry.
She wanted to add some chicken, but just that would be $11 more. How much chicken could be in a personal pizza? This is the price for a full grilled chiken.
For the prices I also expected table cloths & more space between tables, the menus could be better presented in proper sleeves & use cloth napkins.
The decoration is not updated, but you could call it vintage.
There is a lot to improve
